Again, thank you. Feel a bit embarrassed that most of the stats were on the wiki to begin with, though...

I've found the music to Duke Nukem 3D in both MIDI quality and enhanced quality, all in MP3. I've also got the music for most of the expansions, mostly in MIDI and OGG. Contact me if you need them to include in DukeRL and I'll see about uploading them.

Thanks for the info and files. However, I was looking for the original stats for the items and beings in DOOMRL. I was wondering if you could, er, 'loan' them to me. If that's not possible I can make up my own stats, but I'm really looking to make modified versions of the vanilla stuff.

Modding / A couple questions

I'm looking to create a mod that modifies the enemies, weapons, pickups and consumables of DOOMRL, but not the levels. Basically, new stuff but no new levels (for now). Is this possible? I can't seem to find the tables for the original game stuff, so I can't modify them. Is it possible for me to find the tables that display the enemy, weapon and item (powerups and pickups) and mods in the game so I can modify them from there, or do I have to start from scratch? I was also wondering if you can re-name klasses. Thank you in advance.

As for how I feel about the issues:

Protozoid Slimer seems fine to me, as long as it's not TOO annoying.

Player jetpacks could work as a precise rocket jump. Some enemies could use them too, I suppose.

HoloDuke MIGHT work to distract enemies. It has potential, but I don't know if it might work.

Boots could definitely play a bigger role. I know Duke isn't a fan of armor, but since it was in DN3D I feel it should be included anyhow (a few sets of armor varying in protection should do it); they could be rare but also quite good at protecting Duke. The Ego system sounds alright; it would be supplemented by the aforementioned armor if it's included.

Good, good.

Well, if you already have Shottyman, I would think it's better to use a Power mod.  Since you already reload quickly, more damage might be more useful.  EDIT:  Or maybe a tech mod so you can both fire and reload quickly!  :)
That's what I thought afterwards too. Oh well, at least I won (this frigging game).

74
Yeah, Double Shotguns and Super Shotguns are considered "single shot" weapons for purposes of the Bulk mods because they fire their two ammo simultaneously as one shot, so the Bulk mod improves their reload time.

And when you have Shottyman and move to reload, that gives enemies less time to react, especially if you can move fast, right? I might continue bulk-modding them after all.

75
Could be. I always read "single shot" as "not rapid fire". It would make sense for bulk mods to work this way on all shotguns and I have bulk modded my double shotguns in the past, though I have no idea if it did something. Thinking that it did was enough for me =P

I wouldn't be surprised to find it happens in one of the episodes, but it's been ages since I've seen that show.

And now a new idea for a fanfiction is born. DOOM: Hell in Nowhere.
