Would anyone besides me like to have a page added to the player stats that shows all the unique items you found so far? It should have a spot for each, so one can see how many there are and how many are left to see, and list the ones you already found by name.
Sorta like
Empty:

??? ??? ???
Found two:
??? ??? ???
Boomstick ??? ???

Uh, but that would definitively break the player.dat format :/. Add it to the bugtracker, but without a specific version -- we'll implement that when breaking the player.dat will become needed.

Also the idea is redundant for now - we need much, MUCH more uniques for such thing to be usefull. But yea, if we produce enough of them that would be nice.
@iPhone - I think I hard of such thing, but as I'm not much into iThingies I can't confirm.
