Apple broke OpenGL with one of the recent macOS releases. As OpenGL is now unsupported anyway, this isn't trivial to fix. Possibly a port of the game to SDL2 would help, but I don't have currently the time to do it, nor a semi-modern macOS box to test whether it works (my Macbook Pro is of the 2011 era, and can't install newer OSes anyway). The source is open, and I hoped someone would fix it, but as for today, noone did :/.

If we manage to get Jupiter Hell to 1.0, afterwards I'll definitely try to find the time to fix the macOS port. However at the moment there's not much I can do. Blame Apple -_-.

I decided not to add achievements for a while - I'll be adding some challenges, modifying them, and possibly removing some - I'll add achievements for those that remain and are considered "fun" and "relatively doable"

I wonder if there's any single item I could give the player to make the two first levels easier but not making the rest of the run much easier - ergo ease in those 90% deaths?

Congratz :D. The story reads really well too! I like the fact that AoNYR actually has people employing different tactics. The sad part is the reliance on scout due to stair running. I wonder if we can do something about that - I think tech could be almost doable on this challenge if it weren't for beyond.

Congratulations! So Dervis was right that pistols right now, and especially Headshot are now quite powerful! We'll have a bit of a pickle balancing them now, as dualgunner is imminent!

Once again, congratulations :).

Speaking of grenades - which ones do you think are more worth than a stack of 9mm ammo? Which ones do you make room for? Can you try to judge which ones are important, and which ones are useless?

This would have to use the menu confirm, and would be very annoying. You can try rebinding the skill keys - but that won't be properly labeled on the UI (yet)

I'm impressed! I didn't believe this was actually reasonably playable on anything else except Scout (due to the stairs reveal)

It's not a question of imagination, your precise chances to dodge are in the status bar. Note that contrary to DRL the direction of movement doesn't matter.
