EDIT: ***** I nuked this level. Why? I was invulnerable and saw some barons, so why not? I sure was scared though: I was vunerable again only 20 turns after the explosion.
I died when I saw 7 Cacos, a few imps and some commanders, they didn't kill me though, They were all in a bundle, and with one lone caco beside me, I felt a lot safer hiding behind it, of course it mauled me, but at least I wasn't overkilled!

Requests For Features / Post mortem challenges

What if you had certain challenges that if you completed, it would go in your post mortem? eg.

-------General-------
36 brave souls have ventured in to phobos.
34 were killed.
1 was killed by somthing unknown.
And 1 couldn't handle the stress and commited a stupid suicide.

He was never chicken enough to resort to a health pack.
Only 5 others have managed to do this.

He used a thermonuclear bomb, and lived!
He is the first soul who has managed to do this.

etc.

Suggestions for challenges:

The two up there ^
Staying in agressive for over 1000 turns (or somthing larger like 2000)
Not harming a single human, but killing all hellspawn.
Never firing a (Insert gun here), despite having it for over 500 turns.
Killing the CD (Or JC!) with a melee weapon (that is, using lotsa plasma then melee, of course you can't beat either using ONLY melee.)
Killing the CD (Or JC!) using no plasma.
Doing both of the above suggestions (GIVE THE GUY A PRIZE PEOPLE!)

Just asking, but is it possible to:

A. Allow custom avatars (not that I have any good ones [yet])
B. Get custom titles (once you've been a prodctive member of the forums for a long time of course)
C. Show in the topic icon wheter there's been anyone posting in it since I last read it.

Directed to everyone: Does anyone else want these?

Directed to Kornel: Are these possible/easy to implement?

I just made a poll, and I couldn't get the link right. (Finally done now though) and I had to edit it, but I couldn't because I made that post 60 secs ago. Well, Ok, now that I said it aloud, it does seem pretty minor, but it's still an annoyance. Minor or not =P

By "take on" I mean, a difficulty you think you could get past level 12, or somthing that you wouldn't find ridiculously easy, or incredibly hard.

I was quite lucky this game. I found a rapid rocketlauncher, but advanced  is better. I got a "There's somthing special here!" on level 10:

20 plasma cells
plasma gun
plasteel boots
protective boots (Now why would I need those?)

That was great. It was before I found barons and arachs!

But there was 2 things I never got.

RED ARMOR! No red armor 4 me.
And
THE BFG! I guess it makes up for getting the plasma gun early...

This, is what a 0% kill count looks like (took me 3 goes to get it, the FH's kept killing themselves!)

 He survived 956 turns and scored 29 points.

 He killed 0 out of 6 hellspawn. (0%)
 My, was he a wimpy chump.

Now we can have YAWCs! :)

EDIT: I might hold a little YAWC challenge (like the melee one), who can get the furthest without killing anything?

Requests For Features / [IMPLEMENTED] Boots affect knockback

I'm playing DoomRL as I type this, and I got knocked back by a former sergeant. And I was a little peeved off because that gave him time to reload. But then I thought of this: what if the better your boots are, the less knockback affects you? Because boots are next to useless untill you get to level 9 or so, and this way they could get damaged, and have a use, before you find pools and pools of lava.

Why not the soulcube! If you haven't played doom 3 then it's a weapon that never runs out of ammo, but needs to be charged by killing 5 enemies. It is stronger than the BFG! OPTIONAL: It also gives you all the health the monster once had.

EDIT: After a little reasearch I figured out it is in fact FIVE TIMES stronger than the BFG, but that's doom 3, not doomRL.

Also: Maybe a new BFG that can charge for up to 3 turns. (Somthing for the yellow { maybe)

Why does it say "you have no rocket!" when you first get the chainsaw? (I had 43 at the time anyway...)
