As usual, ground floor of Civilian tower did not have any SMGs. I picked up to the basic level Sidearms and then advanced. At this point completely run out of medikits and I decided to go to Medical.
Take a few kits, do about 3 or so laps around the perimeter to get exploration bonus. Level up Fitness. In one of the passages found MP5 and a decent pile of 5.56 ammo. Unfortunately 9mm ammo was low. Go to the store was a long time, and I chose engineering tower next. FN SCAR pile waiting here brave marines - so, I take one (actually, I take anything, grab ammo and drop empty rifles). After a little exploration I got enough experience for level up in Primary weapon. For bullet saving try shoot volleys only at close range, and from 9mm pistol - at distance or finishing off...
Summary of levels 1-2:
Large amounts of .44 ammunition and no Colt.
Heaps of 12g shells and no shotguns.
Too few tools (5 or 6). But has found about 20 sequrity keys.
The most uncomfortable was constantly change one weapon to another. Low 9mm - take FN SCAR. Low 5.56 - take MP5. But I understand purpose of droping something - droping SMGs on passages or near elevators was extremely useful.
So I decided to visit Military-2 and found pulse rifle. Drop it near elevator, take SCAR, explore Military-2 completely, visit one room in Military-1, then up to Military-3 and ...
...(there could be a long and boring story)...
At 5th level, all the lifts (apart from the elevator in the tower of the military) were broken. Fortunately Technician needs a little for mastering his Tech skill. I remembered the previous attempts and was not going to rise above 5 level through a military. As I understand reading forum, last task will be descend to Civilian-1. So I fix Civilian elevator.
On Engineering-6 I found sawed-off (damage 24L !!! A powerful at close range). Almost immediately after that, I got the Colt .44 - the weapon of my dreams. Good from distance, good at close range, and a lot of ammo. (Btw, lately I think that sawed-off more good because of master Technician reloading bonus...)
The Queen was not extremely dangerous. The most difficult moments were accending to the next floor past level 5 (a random generator create too large group of aliens around the elevators) and exploration the upper floors of the Military-Sequrity-Main towers. Escaping was easy but fun.

Nice man! Btw, did you by any chance accidentally shoot your own sentry? :-P

Any defense turret that gets destroyed is counted as a kill. The kill count system is based on deaths not kills :P
As for the Mortem - gratz! I'm eager to hear your suggestions to make the game better!

Well, what about dropping ammo/medikits/grenades? And may be add terminals to Storage, at least one on every floor? We can restore power - but that is impossible when no terminals at all.
Colt and shotguns are too rare. If it is a balance requirement then corresponding ammo must be rare to. From other side, Pulse rifles too common and can be found even at Civilian-3.
The Radiation have no any hazardous effects. May be add some withdrawal-like effects when overdosed?
After-Pain restoration is too fast. In 1 or 2 turns brave marine totally forget about pain.
No sound options - can I turn off shooting sounds but hear aliens hissing?
did you by any chance accidentally shoot your own sentry?
In fact I didn't quite understand what happened. - The turret shots 3-4 times, I was shooting in the other direction, got hit, and was pushed to turret. I do not damage that, by shooting. Looks like I sat down on it when knock backed :D

The praetorian destroy turret in one hit ? Or I sat down on it? Unfortunately, at this moment do not read messages - just shoot praetorian, switch to sidearm, kill the elite, reload pistol, switch primary, reload primary - and messages about sentry was gone (if was any)

Restoring power in the Storage Tower would indeed be a great option.

1. Seems like radiation hurts us slowly? about 1 hp per... 10 turns? Do not measure it, and not sure. May be it was not a radiation but juveniles barely hit me? Next time check it carefully. But ... If we left the radiated area, but have been exposed to radiation, we can not become instantly healthy? And if exist "radiation poisoning" it must be showed. "Radiated!" or something like that.
well I did not spend a lot time in radiated areas and may be not know this mechanics exactly.
2. Pain seems immediately removing when heal up to 100/100. Why? ) pain must go on!
And add: In a dangerous situation, being surrounded by aliens and wounded, or even have a Pain effect first aid kit treats just ridiculous amount of HP :( Why? 1 turn, about 1 second. It is some chemical cure, not bandage or so. Why it heal less?
and one more suggestion:
in Berserk! exist a record of last played game and playback. What about AliensRL? May be not in-game playback, but just outstanding small program for record/replay?

Thats true. And we could have more different .44 weapons and shotguns in the future :) .
Pulse rifles too common and can be found even at Civilian-3.
They appear from time to time, but definitely are not too common (I usually find 3-5 during my games, while I can find 4 FN SCARs in one room). Watch Aliens, play AvP - it was pretty standard and common weapon.

It is slower. It hurts and lowers your maximum health.
And your maximum health becomes green when you are radiated.

It is hard to concentrate (Marine is very shy when he is being surrounded by bugs) and therefore you heal for less.
Also, military medpacks heal normally in the combat - take advantage of them!
