CC+ pro stratz : lure the barons/hk (cacos aren't a prob since they don't open doors) to the doors, then blast them into lava. Then wait until Arena Master approaches, take chainsaw and a zerk, kill AM, clear level, take last zerk for 100% health.

Trying to get back to DoomRL again. Pretty easy game after I got it going, though I escaped with one second left twice. The game was pretty generous with power mods I got like eight of them. (and destroyed all the armors i put them on. nice going dumbass)

yes good

19
i think it's Ultimate Win (apostle ending)

20
1. While the exp multiplier is the highest (1.4x) ITYTD has very little enemies compared to other difficulties. At the same time however, you get double effects from powerups/medpacks, and bosses have way less health.

2. Rocket launcher, berserking, or just shotgunning really well. (as for the other enemies, lure them into the doors and then knock them back to lava to get rid of the corpses. Or use the said rocket launcher.)

4. I recommend rocket jumping. Granted, you need to do the arena for this unless you get lucky. Funnily enough I can't really say anything else because I haven't touched HMP and lower in a long time. (demons are easy to outrun)

5. The AoE of Intuition is your entire FoV radius + a few tiles outside, meaning you can see enemies behind walls if they are close enough.

21
vampyre also does a similar thing iirc

I think they're hell barons you're having problems with? Their standard depth is 12+ and the modifier for UV/N! is -6. A single rank of reloader is more than enough for HK's.

Since startscumming for mods is tacitly allowed, we may as well just adopt a "select your starting mod" method.

or how about a special mod pack that lets you choose between bulk, tech and agility mod :o

it could even be a thingy elsewhere!

24
overcharging a normal bfg just hits about half of the level with 12d8 damage, only the nuclear exotics work as nukes

missile launcher (with a sniper upgrade)

but the missile launcher already has +10 accuracy! so unless you find a second pack to negate the out-of-fov penalty it's useless.

One more idea:
 - Remove the necessity to confirm the Nightmare! difficulty; it may be funny at first, but no longer later;

thisssssssssss

any plans on implementing a repeat last game option? trying to get a decent entrance/an agility mod in AoMr has really been getting on my nerves

Now we just need some cells for our NUCLEAR KEYCARD.

28
Halls of Carnage w/ melee isn't still that hard due to the three supercharges, but the flooding lava doesn't leave much time to fuck around (esp. on higher difficulties). Go to the locked doors as fast as possible, killing only sergeants that are in your way. (you can open locked doors w/ melee by pressing fire and manually choosing a direction) Killing the lost souls/cacodemons shouldn't be a problem unless you somehow lost all your health already. In the end maze try to fight only one enemy at a time (but remember that the clock is still ticking). Leave taking the last supercharge for as long as you think you can.

29
AoOC is weirdly one of the easier challenges, actually. The assault shotgun + shell box helps.

30
Mancubi are the worst mainly because they make swiss cheese out of your cover if they get even a single shot in.
