It's Dos only and so far i know, DosBox don't give any sounds for Xp systems. I want FalloutRl !!!!
Ahhhh.  I have a old machine dedicated to old games and roguelike, I probably should have mentioned it's a bit of an oldie.  Oh well.  I suppose I'm just wierd like that.  Tho I would like a FalloutRl, but I'm a poor college student:(

TFoN- Have you ever played Wasteland?  It's the spirtual predescessor to Fallout, and in my humble opinion, is as good as, if not better, than the Fallout series.  Forgive my heresy if I offend :P  But while it's not a RL per se, it's more rogueish, if I'm making any sense.  Check it out at http://www.the-underdogs.info/game.php?gameid=2425

I don't think the very core DooM gameplay should be changed:  I'm playing partly because it's a fun game, and partly because it brings back a decade's old memories of a childhood well wasted playing DooM.  Adding all this complexity to the core game mechanics just undermines what I'm doing when I play the game.  If this is just me, feel free to ignore me because I tend to ramble a bit.

I was on Home of the Underdogs one day, and I saw DooM: The Roguelike on it's frontpage.  I had (finally!) ascended on NetHack and was looking for some similar Rogue-ish action.  I downloaded it and was hooked.

This may have been answered already, but why haven't the Mancubus and Revenant monsters been used?  They were in the original Doom and their absense has left me wondering...
