First time doing what I always wanted to do: Kill that bastard AoD. Yeah, I got lucky on this one run, because I got to be affected by Berserker many times, which helped me to survive the encounters. Angel of Death? Went down in... I forgot how many hits, but he was SoBx3'd with a modified chainsaw. The Mortuary? Good lord, that one was difficult. I spent all my medpacks and two skulls there, just to leave two formers alive. They got to die, but having to waste through 10+ medpacks just to ensure the Archviles (And pretty much everything else there) were dead... Priceless. After that, it was a breeze, especially thanks to the Scythe's damage, enough to overkill most mobs in one or two hits.

Either way, there's no way in hell I'm going for a 100% kill-rate AoB run ever again. Mostly because now I want to do it for the Longinus, even if it's weaker. Just for completion rate.

Say, how do the monsters work.

Do they attack after your move?
If so, then that's pretty cheap, IMHO.
It's turn-based, after all, so they attack when their turns come. Or they move. Or use items.

Took me long enough to finish it, eh? Well, that's the price one has to pay when perfection (Or near-perfection, in this case) is sought by a player. Typical, run-of-the-mill HNTR run, Ammochain-based but with a shotty start. Which is strange, because I always go Combat shotty when it spawns... something that didn't happen until I was in Hell. Omitted some of the special levels, because they would have been painfully hard, mostly those at the beginning and UC, because I wasn't interested in trying to die in vain. Leaving that thing aside, it was a (long, but) funny run, just to relax. Gotta love those nuclear weapons I got by kicking the special levels around and those two BFGs. They saved me quite a few times, especially the depleted BFG in the inventory (The one from the HoC)

Ammo: lots, or alternatively never needs to reload as long as you have 10mm ammo but takes a little extra time to switch to
Reload time: ridiculous, or see above

On the surface, a slightly better chaingun. However... it's got three rotating barrels instead of one! So when chainfire is initial, it shoots three shots... warming, it shoots six... full-auto does 9. Triggerhappy effects each barrel, so with Triggerhappy (2) a normal attack fires 12 bullets, and a full-auto burst will fling 15 bullets per round. Let's hear it for wasteful excess!

It could have two barrels instead of three, different damage or rounds fired, whatever. I'm just a big fan of the 'bullets everywhere' style of fighting.

So it's just like KOS-MOS' gatling. No, seriously, it's like KOS-MOS' gatling gun, which has three barrels, with the added bonus of holding ANOTHER one of those in the other hand.

This actually renders the plasma shotgun more useless than it already is, which is a feat in and of itself. Why any non-AoSH player would want to use the plasma shotgun is beyond me. For other than novelty purposes, that is.
What about this: You can go Fireangel and get the Plasma Shotgun (Or modding a Plasmatic Shrapnel), getting that way MAd, too. It's like combining Vampyre with a Butcher's Cleaver.

This started last night as a game just to test a theory regarding the requirements to equip the DS (That's why those last three levels were unrelated to the rest of the build). After passing the first two Hell levels after the Hellgate, I went to sleep without crossing paths with it yet, something that lasted 'till the end of the run, but I can't resist the urge to end a game that goes SO well like this one, especially when I could get in my hands a Nano mod pack with several bulk ones and a BFG 9000. It was a nice game, not because I failed to test my thoughts, but because I got so many unique items... at first. It was weird, I never had so much luck, and I was waiting for the RNG to come at me with a BSOD-inducing groin attack, but... it never happened. Until I was in level 22 (Or 23, I always have that problem of knowing where the hell I am), because in that place, near my spawn point... ANOTHER GOD-DAMNED MALEK'S ARMOR WAS RESTING. What the hell, indeed. What was that of "Uniques only spawning once in each game"? How the hell could this happen? Did I broke the game so bad that it gave me another armor because of my awesomeness???
