Title: The Best DoomRL Advice Ever!

I thought i'd give some advice to prepair everyone for 0.9.9.7, further contributions are welcome!

Make sure to pop around blind corners quickly to suprise the enemy
Use medikits as soon as possible, better to be safe that way
Make sure you run up to wounded enemies, you don't want to waste your ammo
Take the stairs as soon as you see them, at least until you get to arch viles, it isn't worth wasting your time and ammo killing formers.
Wear a Bulletproof Vest vs. the Spider Mastermind.
Stand in the open when fighting enemies, you don't want to block your line of sight!
and of course
Protip:  To defeat the Cyberdemon, shoot at it until it dies!

Make sure you fight as many enemies at once as you can, that way you don't have to waste time moving from enemey to enemey

(Heheh, for a moment, I thought you were serious!)  :P

How about...  always overcharge your nuclear Plasma Rifle; you do more damage that way.  ;)

Make sure to equip a weapon when playing Angel of Pacifism - it's the only way to glitch into a super secret level!

Totally wrong. The correct advice would be:
To defeat Cybie, be sure to wait until he runs out of rockets.

BTW: DS will be in your hands + BA = UW, so you're right. but it will be difficult, very difficult.

i tried your advice, that does work better!, just make sure to stand still so you don't have to waste time waiting for the cybie to aim

Don't forget about modding your shotguns with as many agility mods as you can so it can aim better.

Shove barrels into acid/lava pools so they won't get hit by stray shots and explode at inconvenient times.

If you are going for the Longinus Spear or a similar reward, nuke the level to clear it easily and painlessly.

Make sure not to wear your P-modded red armor or have the Berserker trait. You want to keep the armor shiny, and melee is for chumps.

When playing with a malicious blades build, complement your readied combat knife with the longinus spear in your prepared slot to make the most out of the trait.

Each Invulnerability Globe you take drains 5 maxHP _permanently_. Think twice before grabbing those.
