Okay, I've implemented registering via e-mail confirmation, and blocked anonymous posting. Seems as moderators won't have much to do now :). Yet if anything shows up from now, please don't delete it -- I will want to take a look.

Also, I plan on clearing the user database. I will remove all users that didn't make any posts -- so if anyone wants to keep a lurking account then please post at least a hello in this topic :].

The following forum functions are not working now:

quote (access denied)

bold (no visible effect)
italic (access denied)
underline (access denied)
link (access denied)
image-or-whatever-that-button-is-supposed-to-do (access denied)

I think the problem lies insofar that the quote button was not updated from the old model (That guests could quote), So now that guests cant quote (The button treats everyone as a guest) it deny's you access.

Its a theroy, But I'm fairly sure it might have some truth in it.

I accidently created an account with my real name instead of an alias.  Is there a way to delete my account so I can create a new one?

Umm... make yourself a cyber-entity. You do not exist on the internet, only the alias. That's what I've done. Damn efficient, too. I do not make that mistake. Oh, and Andrew, it's humorously ironic that your last name is the same as the last name of a most prominent protagonist in a story I've created. I like the name - used it even before I played Half-Life 2.

Imagine my shock when I first played Halflife and all the scientists started calling me "Mr. Freeman!"

Also, when I signed up for the forums here, I thought it was asking for my real name, and after I gave that it would let me choose a username.

If any moderators are reading this, I would like to change my name if it isn't too much of an inconvenience
