Let me conclude. "i" - it is you backpack, there you see items, that are not equipped on you.
"e" - plays two roles: there listed equipment you are wearing, and also there are listed your skills.
RTFM(Read This F*** Manual) - there it's written.

Inventory screen

  Press item letter to do the default action on a given item. Wearable
  items will switch if one is already weared.
 
 
Equipment screen

  Pressing the letter of a weared item will unequip it. Pressing the
  letter of a empty slot will let you choose an item. Note though, that
  switching through the inventory screen is faster.

No it doesnt. Selecting the armor slot simply un-equips whatever is in it, so you cant "swap" anything.
Try press "i" key, then choose armor(or boots, or weapon) you want to equip. It will swap with already equipped.

I always wondered, why arachnotron sounds like Spider Mastermind? Maybe add sounds corresponding to every monster, because sound of arachnotron for people, who played an original DooM a lot, causes one reaction, and sound of Mastermind causes another? Also i found in "wav" directory mancubus sounds, but haven't found him in game(or in ini). It's for the future?))

Finally i have time to play a little and try to complete AoB challenge. I realized that the hardest levels in AoB is first 4 or 5, as long as you will be able to go to Chained Court. It seems very hard to me to totally clear first levels in AoB, because even with knife you are no match to 2 demons. I just run through levels 2-4. After i found chainsaw, i cleared every level on my way. Funniest was Phobos Hell level, where i faced 15)) cacodemons in one little room. It's on Hurt Me Plenty. I can't imagine, what will happen on Nightmare!. Anybody have seen, how is there? Mostly they killed themselves with splash damage. Also on HMP if you archieve level 9 or 10(as i did), you will be totally overpowered. Killing Arch-Vile in one blow is fun. Killing 8 Arachnotrons without using any medpacks, or Berserk is fun. But it's too easy. Maybe Ultra Violence will be more challenging( if i will make it there further first two levels). Near the end of the game i created reserv save , because i've got 2 nukes and i never seen JC before, so i decided to try loading while there are invincibility near exit to the Cybie level. But fortunatelly it happened in first time, so i haven't save-loading, and i'm not a cheater. I'm a Sergeant Imp now(i have very few time to play, only on saturday in night).

I realized that when you die, if you hit space one time to see mortem, but then hit alt+f4(or any other way you'll close window of DooMRL), all kills will be added to your character statistics, but your death won't be count there(and in "score.dat" too). It's really cheater bug, because you can raise your statistics fast and without problems(just save-load on last levels of game and die every time you load).
And one more. In mortuary, when i picked up and AA and put it on, i remained white. As i remember from previous game, AA is yellow. I had at that time Tough As Nails*3 ; Ironman*3 ; Brute*3 ; Eagle Eye*1 and a lots of red armor in backpack.

do tactics affect melee tohit and dodge?
Yes, it's effect looks the same as for ranged weapons.

They ressurect not only in LOS. There was many times, when Arch-Vile, sitting in closed house, was ressurecting everybody outside in certain distance.
What about doors - i don't know, mostly i meet them on open space, where is no doors.
How many Arch-Viles can you kill at once? And how many ammo, health and armor you had lost for this? Just imagine that there are two such Arch-Vile rooms on one, or on near by levels. IMHO it's insane to place multiple Arch-Viles in one room. Maybe two is still ok, but three is too much.

Experience is everything in this game. And surely experience comes in time. In previous version(it was my first try of DooMRL) i died 30 or 40 times just to understand, what perks are worth picking, and what are not. Cyberdemon i killed only on 60th or 70th  try)). But in new version i made it with first try. If you don't give up of your looses, time will come, when you will kill Cyberdemon on Nightmare! in AoB.

Yes, but then you must count that player can destroy any wall(even back, where items laying) and enter room from any square(or be teleported in). It's a real good idea of making trap rooms, where monsters are spawning only when you enter or do some action. In original DooM such moments were used all around the game, so it is very DooMish style(i really like such moments there very much!).

Unfortunately lair of Vile can't be created, due to monster AI. All monsters are active at the beggining of level. So Arch-Viles too begins to ressurect dead monsters when there are dead bodies around, not when player is in their sight. So when you'll enter this room, you will find Arch-Vile with lots of other monsters around him.

normal RL is 4d4 (4-16)... advanced should change it to 4d5 (4-20)...
Agree, my mistake. Well, really, nearly no difference between RL and ARL. But you can cut some experience from BoHs ,and restore then all rockets that you loose on them.

What about destroyed reward - i don't know, i cleared The Wall at least 10 times in 0980 and never destroyed ARL. Usually i'm standing not against Wall, but in lower side of the map, under the hole i made , firing directly up to appearing BoHs. You can make a hole in upper side of wall, or in lower, if you want, and fire in - then you surelly won't destroy ARL.

I don't understand, why all of you fear The Wall so. And why you don't count Advanced RL worth picking.
I really love this level. IMHO is you already have RL and enough rockets, you can deal with BoHs without any loss of health(i did it, it's possible). Just fire from far into the darkness and use knockback of RL. You can always keep them on distance, and with new prepared slot you can always hold something for those, who are morally wounded or almost dead.

Agreed... I often just go to the wall level to plug my ear on the wall and hear the demons yelling.

For what? To loose percentage of kills? If i can't clear special level, i'm not going to it at all.
