Bug Reports / Critical Error: <TSound/0/0> Can't open SDL_Mixer!

I'm running Windows XP SP2 and when I tried to start DoomRL 'Critical Error: <TSound/0/0> Can't open SDL_Mixer!' came up in the command prompt shell and DoomRL wouldn't start.

Halp?
