I just got an idea for a type of an unique;

How about a shield of a type that will take the slot for the prepared weapon (possibly for good?) and then slightly increasing the armor rating as long as its in the prepared slot?


This would be handy for mélee atleast.

Angel of Big Mess.

Every level you enter, will be filled randomly with barrels, barrels and more barrels in the same way of "Khehehe this will be a mess.." level feel. And I do mean every level.
Yes, even special levels.

Also anyone know how to stop the dots from turning to those weird "ú"'s with the text screen shots? Its really anoying.

Just another attempt of beating Nightmare with marksmanship... However I was rather suprised I actually won!

When I first started out this round, it was allready going to hell, literally. Had very scarce health, no healthpacks anywhere, and very little powerups.. I was suprised I got to the chained court that way. However, afterwards I started to find a lot of berserks and invulnerabilities! Beeing rather invicible I stormed through most of the levels before hell levels and racked up some levels. Once I got TaN and Soab maxed out, I didn't have much trouble anymore even though health still was scarce.

Even though the few end levels had some pack of Viles, I'm just glad there's always lava to trap em with. :D

So overall, I got rather lucky in this run. Even though two uniques spawned in during the time, I never had the chance to actually find them, as they spawned in rather bad levels. Another one was in a barrel level and another in a maze.

I heard something about a buff for anachnotrons so why not celebrate with a nice little web/nest of spiders?

Basicly like an arena and maze combined but way more scattered with some lava/acid spots here and there. Item drops come regularry as in randomly. However only enemy you will run to are spiders and spiders.

Which is a game about the Doom series!


Eitherway, in the actual doom series you will have much more trouble killing Spidey then Cybie unless you know the BFG trick.
Spidey's super chaingun is like 2 - 5 times stronger then the normal chaingun. If you have no where to hide, you're a dead man. Atleast you can dodge Cybie, but not Spidey. The damage is no joke either.

Just cause Spidey has a lower HP, doesn't mean Spidey is easier.

Few other ideas from good old Hexen;

Fléchette. "Not drinkable"
Special little item that has a varying effect depending on your traits.
I'm not excatly sure what traits would cause it to do what I'm thinking it would have three effects;
Able to be made into a small pool of acid
Left there like a barrel, would explode after a while or on hit
Thrown like a grenade.

Damage would be similiar to a rocket launcher on thrown or barreled.
On pick up it would be a stack of 10 or so.


Chaos Device.

When used on an enemy/enemies it will teleport it/them randomly like it/they would've used a phase device.
Good if you're confronting an enemy on low health you wouldn't want to run into.

On pick up it would be a stack of 10 or so aswell.

Icon of Defender. "No time for chess"

Like a portable invulnerability, however, when you use it saps some of your life or max health. It also vanishes on use and doesnt last as long as a normal invulnerability.

So how about a zig zag hell? Should be bit more tactical and fun or atleast fun.

Spawns somewhere near level 30 or 40.

Basicly a little ol zig zagging "maze" with a vault in the end for a precious reward. 3 random armors with atleast one red one, 2 plasteel boots and 2 random weapons which are chosen from double shotty and up with their representive ammo near by. One of the Armor or Weapon can and should most likely spawn as an unique. 
h's are randomly chosen, some sergeants, some captains and few commandos. B's are barons or/and hell knights.
The G at the end is something like a vault guard, a miniboss. Not sure what excatly it should be but I'd imagine a guard to carry a chaingun type of a weapon.
Levers have random effects, no wall exploding however. The last lever is an armor debosit though just incase yours need repairs.

Okay then, I've never had sucha a great game as I just now had.
So here I was, trying to see if I can beat Angol of 100 on Ultra violence again and rack up 100% kills.

This had a very promising start, finding the blaster and then the necroarmor! With this combo I really didn't have much room to lose at all. And as you can see, I racked up a lot of kills, to be honest, I was just sweeping kills like they were hay.

After I found Grammaton Cleric Beretta, I was pretty much one hitting barons with dual gunner.
I was un stoppable. Taking very little damage, and dealing out even more!

However, things went wrong in the level 90. Too many Anachnotrons and Barons with big dash of Mancubi, started to seriously chew my health packs, and at level 91, I had no health packs at all, to make it worse it was a Kheheheh this will be a mess level! But then I saw one after blowing up big bunch of barrels to clear enemies from the middle room. Tried to rush to it with like 5% hp left and then.. Aaarchvile! And I died to its instant hit.



Must say, blaster gotta be the best weapon ever, it seriously made the pain elemental caverns a cake walk and the fact you save a lot of ammo for health packs made everything so much easier. Not to mention the fire rate and damage once you soab and soag up.


But yeah, I hope I'll find blaster again if I ever try this again.
