If I shoot my combat shotgun, and then try to immediately reload without moving, it says "You pump a shell into the combat shotgun chamber", but it doesn't actually reload the shotgun (or reduce my shell inventory). If I reload again, it does everything properly. I can recreate this every single time.
The bug doesn't occur with secondary reload (R), only regular reload (r).
Windows version 0.9.4.4
Win7 Pro 64-bit

It's normal. "You pump a shell into the combat shotgun chamber" means that you pump one of the 5 combat shotgun's shells.
The combat shotgun must be pumped after shot in order to fire the next shell in the clip. You can pump the shotgun by moving or by reloading.
