I must admit, Slash, the quality of the UI graphics kicks ass. Looks *very* professional to me :).
Thanks ;)

Where did you take the graphics from? The tilesets, UI graphics, plot screens and character portraits?
A professional graphical artist (a.k.a. Christopher Barrett) volunteered to the project, his work is amazing ;)

1. Graphics kicks ass
2. So does the intro
Thanks

3. But you still use that crappy old whip sound
Quoting: Malek
any specific order in which I should record the sounds? xD
Hehe :P
I can send you a list of the sounds so we can divide the ripping work, if you are still willing and have time to do this ;)

4. Plus it shows some error when this one is played
Yes, this happens for all melee weapons as I havent programmed their graphic effects... this will be fixed on next version

5. On dark monitors, like mine, bats in forest at night are effectively invisible - add something brighter to the sprite - dunno, eyes perhaps?
Will talk the artist about this

6. I think that there should be a non-gfx version also for people with weaker computers or hardcore rougelikers - just a thought
Oh yes off course... the architecture of the engine allows easily for this... next version will provide a Dual launcher object so you can just "java -jar crl121.jar -graphics" or "java -jar crl121.jar -console" via batch files or something.
Thanks for your comments

Willing - yes, time...ummm...it'll have to wait some time (up to a week I think? hopefully less) as I'm a bit busy with work at the moment :/ (And I think I've gave you whip/jump sounds some time a go as an "sample")

Yes, now I remember... I will put them in place for the next version
