Not actually for DoomRL (I prefer to trust the music selection of the developer :P ) but when I played DeadCold I used to hear Daft Punk or heavy electro music., I guess that would work for DoomRL as well.

So I knew I had to play the game but had been very busy. Today I finally gave it a shot, gratz Kornel! lots of new things ;)

Was afraid of going into the spider lair, BFG+plasma did the job very well xD

Overall, I think this was far too easy! arachnies no longer a nightmare, was scared on Archviles and elementals at first but then got confident enough. Was afraid on entering the mortuarium or unholy cathedral tough :P

Had 2 BFGs, overcharged one against cybie but seems it was not THAT strong ??? just like an overcharged rifle...

Well, back to developing DrashRL! :P

Well actually... I guess it all depends on if you planned to support both modes when you started the project, altough it is never too late...

Also, it is common for graphics and ascii version to be bundled together and switched via configuration (or ingame)

This is very weird... not the normal slow windows console problem... maybe a misconfigured codepage.... do other console applications (i.e., roguelikes :P) work correctly on your box?
