Hesitation needs a lot more detail on what the exact effect is.
For the quote:
Where you go, even demons fear to tread.
or
Few can stand against your hellish stare.
For a better name, try "Tamer of Hell," as it's not YOU who hesitates.
Nuclear Boy
"I'm sick of this hell"
You are so sick of this hell, that you'd rather shit thermo-nuclear bomb than mess with this f****** monsters.. oh wait, WHAT'S THIS? Yeah, you can shit thermie, but beware! This is so much strain on your body, that your HP will be instantly decreased to 20 % and bomb isn't small so it will take you 10 seconds to do it, and it kinda smells so you will activate it with your foot, you don't wanna take nasty things to your inventory do you?
Req: Though as Nails (3)
I have idea for expansion of Whizzkid trait. So it would be Whizzkid (3) - you gain ability of 1 extra mod per normal weapon and from now on you can remove mods from items and apply them to other! Lets say in inventory you'll select weapon and press 'l' or 'u' and then you will eject all mods.To uber. You will be able to stack mods in other weapons, and later use them in the weapon of your choice. SOund reasonable, that you can take out the mods, but this would really make you marine a really, really great ass-kicker.Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Stubborn as a muleSeconded, this could be very useful.
No obstacle will keep you from getting the hell out of here. When other people give up, you just keep going even against impossible odds.
This trait allows you to Run twice as long before getting tired. Also Berserk and Invulnerability powerups last twice as long.
Requires ironman 2

Req: SoB 3 & Badass 3?
You just love your spicy food and over the years you have developed a nasty explosive belch your UAC colleagues consider as a risk. From time to time you need to relieve the pressure growing in your throat or you will quite possibly explode... literarily.
Effect: Produces a cone of explosive force from the player for a range of three at L1, five at L2 and seven at L3 with the damage of 6d6.
And how often would you be allowed to use this free shotgun?
yay for my first post! anyway... down to traits.Implemented in the BETA, under a diffirent name and with diffirent mechanics
OMNOMNOM
requires Brute 2.
"so that's what deep-fried Imp tastes like!"
well, you've finally discovered why zombies eat the dead... its because they taste so damn good! you have gained the ability to heal you self by eating you opponents while your in close combat. .
what this would do is give you, like, 5% of a monsters health when you kill them in close combat.
and, come on, wouldn't it be cool for YOU to take a bite out a Demon for a change.
the acid-proof Rubber manRubber is invulnerable to acid? [:
doesn't require anything.
"I'm non-biodegradeable, baby!"
though some way or another, you've gained rubber like properties, making you invulnerable to acid and you take less damage from most source... maybe it was all of those bicycle wheels you ate.
man of stoneNow this one... too powerful... too powerful...
doesn't require anything.
"I IZ ROK 'ARD, GOV!"
apparently, being coated with thin layer of lava is not fatal and is in fact a good thing. you are invulnerable to lava and gain a armour bonus at the small cost of speed.
Trait Levels: 3This is something that bothers me - why do most people insist on introducing new traits with MULTIPLE levels ? We don't have THAT much XP to burn and usually the difference between a single level and anything more is negligible.
Basically, if the player is within one (L1), two (L2) or three (L3) tiles near lava or acid, he gets hit by normal Lava/Acid damage, if he steps on a tile occupied by lava or acid, the damage will double. Also - most of the time it's useless to propose traits with disadvantages, as all the other (basic) traits don't harm you in any way.
BTW - does wading through water slow the player down ? It should...
I don't notice water taking any more turns to move into or out of. Or is this a new feature in the beta?
