This is a full episode module (~25 levels) with new monsters, new items, new special levels, new random levels, etc.

Graphics mode support is still a work in progress both in Inferno and in DoomRL itself (for mods at least), but if you're willing to put up with graphical issues, it should be playable.

Some of the sounds included copyrighted material used without permission.  If that makes you uncomfortable, let me know and I'll make a version without sounds available.

Feedback is very welcome. Praise, criticism, bug-reports, balance suggestions, screenshots, YASDs, YAVPs: bring 'em on!

FAQ:
Q:  Which version should I download?  Raw or wad?

A:  They are about the same size, and they install the same way.  Raw contains the source code.  Wad doesn't work on MacOS.  If one doesn't work for you, try the other.

Q:  DoomRL crashes when I'm done playing your module.  What's going on?

A:  If you are running DoomRL in console mode, a bug in DoomRL itself will cause the game to crash when returning to the main menu from any module.  This is harmless but annoying.  The only known workarounds are to run the game in graphics mode or to set MenuReturn to false in config.lua (which is hardly better).

For no particular reason, I decided to do a UV game with a Gunrunner build, and got conqueror.  Yay!  :D  (100% kills too!)  :)  I had serious doubts about my ability to win toward the end, since I was almost completely out of ammo, even with scavenger 3, but I just barely managed to pull it off.

I was very speedy!  Between HR 3, the Exosuit unique, and the metabolic boost from my amp, I was moving at 0.5 seconds per move, (0.3 seconds while dashing) which went well with my chaingun with barbed 3, and actually turned out to be crucial for saving ammo at the end, since I could hit enemies with a few rounds, and then move fast enough to keep away from them while they bled to death.  In some cases, I even just danced back and forth in front of them, while they had a lot of difficulty hitting me, due to my dodge chance.  (Although I seriously wonder how to hit chances work in this, since they were sometimes still able to hit me, despite, in some cases, supposedly having -290% accuracy from bleeding stacks)

Another thing that was a big help was that super shotgun with rush 10, (damage bonus after move) which synergized nicely with the build, which is based on constantly moving.  I was pretty pleased to be able to deliver the coup de grace to Harbinger with my last shot from that gun.  :)

I was disappointed to find that the sustain mod didn't seem to work with the rail rifle.  (Or didn't work consistently?)  I think there were some shots that returned ammo as expected, but mostly not, and I'm not sure why that is.  If the mod had worked properly, a lot of my ammo worries would have been alleviated, particularly in Dante Inferno, which was a huge ammo drain, with very little return.

At one point, in the interest of saving ammo, I picked up a katana from the ground to whack a couple of reavers, and I noticed that Gunrunner's reduced attack time applied to melee weapons too, so now, I really want to do a melee-focused Gunrunner build game.  (Bladerunner, anyone?)  :D

I don't have the actual release of 0.9.2 (it looks like the only "official" version I have is maybe 0.8.1), but I have dev copies of add's mods that were in the old Chaosforge svn repo (although maybe not the absolute latest versions). Not sure what changes this entails besides some updating to account for changes in the base game. This doesn't work with DRL 0.9.9.7, but it mostly works with the github version. So, I could maybe post a Windows binary of my github fork with a fixed version of dev Elevator, or I could try to downgrade dev Elevator to 0.9.9.7 (maybe not that hard, but I don't really remember all the changes off the top of my head). Or you could wait and see if someone else like Tormuse can share the actual release of 0.9.2.

Hi everyone! Here i bring mortem of my Royal Platinum Run
I had tried lot of potential platinum before i realized, that royal one looks little bit less difficult.
So, i got it in very few tries.
To achieve vin in this challenge you just need to get one/two good piercing pistols from Callisto Docking Bay, catch gunslinger trait and then just clear all in a row.

My main mistakes were lost all my 9mm ammo and wearing off red key helmet.
Although it is enought to have one normal pistol in final battle.
Deathgaze is fun relic, but not mantatory to get ))

When I tested it, the problem I saw is that the next time you go down stairs after loading the game it will crash. Not sure this is the same as what you're seeing (but it could be related).

I've attached a version with my fix for this, and it didn't seem to crash in the quick tests I run. If you run into more issues, it would help if you could attach a save.

(Basically, the bug is due to the way the mod was tracking which floor you were on; this wasn't saved, so after loading, it would be out of sync with the game's internal count.)
