He did not nuke half a dozen of his own marines. He did not achieve a laughable maximum depth of 5 on nightmare. He has not not yet fully won the game on ITYTD.

He has a kill/death ration of 191:1

If your health is over 100%, but you are tired, then using a med-pack should give you a message along the lines of "You feel less tired." instead of the technically inaccurate "Nothing happens."

And YES, that these kinds of nitpicking are the only suggestions I can make does say something about the overall quality of DoomRL, huh. :)

If we're suggesting default colour changes: it's sometimes a hassle that large health globes and berserk packs share dark red while both being common. Thematically appropriate or not, they'd be easier to identify if berserk packs were changed to light blue or brown (the backpack can be 'unique' light green).

 Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already!
 Is he immortal? 14 souls claim to have killed him...
 4 sacrificed itself for the good of mankind.
 9 killed the bastard and survived.
 1 showed that it can outsmart hell itself.

It's times like these I wish you could transplant your winning (non-suicidal) characters into the middle of a bonus Nightmare! arena without stairs and see how long they could actually last. I'm pretty annoyed I didn't find any nukes on this run, but the extra new medals I hadn't realised I'd earned made up for it. :)

The only remotely close call I had on this run was entirely my own fault - I shot a rocket at an enemy with a lava barrel just in range of the explosion, and I just in range of the lava barrel. It took me down to 8% and left me exposed, but I just inhaled a medpack and kept shooting.

And if you're wondering what happened to those last seven demons ... I got lazy on a couple of hell levels where there was lava all over the place.

How is it that you manage to cock a KNIFE when you pick it up, anyway? Maybe a different sound would be better here.

You might also want to stop the SFX playing when you fail to unload ammo due to a full inventory. If somebody else were playing quickly they could hypothetically not notice until they'd already run around to nearly half a dozen discarded pistols.

Yeah. Once I'd made it all the way down to L25 and half-killed the cyberdemon before blowing my own face off with the Revenant's Launcher. Whoops.

If the player doesn't have a master trait, probably the most accurate next step would be to name their build after the first advanced trait they picked. Dualgunner -> assume a pistol build. Berserker -> assume a melee build. Whizkid -> call them a Field Technician. And so on, leaving Grunt as a catchall if nothing else matched or they were still low level.

It could be a fun system, especially if you hid a few easter egg names for exact build orders.
