i don't think i have ever played a doom with grenades
however im not undermining the fact that it isnt a bad idea
maybe for some other rougelike not Doom
and it dose sound a tad overpowered

i find that a single inventory slot extra could be very useful i dont know what your talking about
100 more 10mm
one more unique weapon
50 more shells
one more med pack that could save your life

the Title is sort of self-explanatory
why not make a trait that gives you an extra inventory slot
you could call it stockpiler
or something to that effect 

Perhaps you could have a separate stair case in the Spider lair that goes to either a series of levels or straight to the masterminds lair

if you where to go with the series of levels idea obviously more spiders spawn
or only spiders spawn...

That is all true
however it seems that arch-vials raise the dead too quickly
i think there should be some kind of "charge time" if they dont already
it would make things a little more bearable

That is pretty cool
but is it just me or dose it seem just a little to bright for Doom
i'm not trying to Criticize or anything but it seems to me that DoomRL would be a little darker if you where to add Graphics
the Tiles just seem a little to Vibrant to me
but other than that it is Great!

i Seem to have a problem. in the older version of DoomRL before Arch-Vials and Revenants i didn't seem to have a problem going through Hell and killing the Cyberdemon.
but now it is like 30 times harder because of the Arch-Vials and Revenants

so my question is this...
is there a tactic or something im missing or are the Arch-Vials and Revenants overpowered
i mean don't get me wrong im glad they where added but now it seems that the reason of my death
is now because of an Arch-Vial or a Revenant. is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?
Because it is becoming very Frustrating and i want to know if anything will be done to balance the game to a degree.

that dose piss me off would be nice to have that

however when i read the subject it gave me an idea why not make a charging time for certain enemies like arch viles when they use their fire attack in doom you have some time to get away or fire at them
so have a message like "the arch vile gets ready to attack"
it would better prepare you for what is to come
