0.9.9.3 / [M|AoB|81%|YAVP] Third time is the charm!!!

3rd time past the hellgate and finally the win!
This run started a little rough. There was not much armor to be found but tons of small med-packs. I was able to get 100% kills going into the UC, so too bad I wasn't on HMP or I would have had the scythe.
Level 16 was a tomato cave with lava pools, I was not too happy about that after having missed the UC on my last run.
I entered the armory fairly confident, I had a good number of large med-packs just in case. Crossing the central lava river there was a bit tough, so I just ran across and hoped for the best. When the shambler first appeared, I got some nice hits on him, only for him to teleport away and reappear and full health. We played a little cat and mouse until finally I got a 'zerk off him and ended it there.
I was planning on trying the mortuary, then decided against it, then was forced into it where I led with a fire skull, which destroyed the little cover I had. I tried running at a Vile to get some berserk but that failed and I decided that I was not going to lose this run hoping for a 'zerk.
There was another level that would have done me in, fortunately, I found a tracking map which let me see the many lava pools with unmoving sergeants ready to push me into lava.
Arriving at the cybie's lair, I had some berserk remaining and I tried to find him in time. He was hiding on the north wall and my 'zerk ran out right as I got to him. The 200% hp kept me strong until I got the 'zerk and ran him through with the spear.
I was determined to do this challenge before the new berserker rolled out in the next update, and my determination payed off.
Onto my next adventure...

And 2 couldn't handle the stress and committed a stupid suicide.
Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already!

1 sacrificed itself for the good of mankind.
4 killed the bastard and survived.

Requests For Features / A few ideas

Sorry if any of these have been suggested before, but some searching didn't turn up anything
I was recently playing some AoB and and had times when I would need a strategic berserk or when I would be pounding on herds of demons without getting the needed red screen.
I was trying to think of some way that a beserker could get a berserk boost when desperately needed, but a way that wouldn't be too overpowered.
So, could small medkit be used to give an unberseked player 5 turns of berserk and no healing? If a player is already berserked, they would get health as normal but it wouldn't add to the 'zerk counter
Also, after picking up a tracking map or computer map, can the (l)ook command be used to see what exactly the items on the ground are?

Well, I took what I learned from my last game and did much better.
I was saving lots of red armor for UC, then I missed it.
I probably would have won, but my 'zerk i had stored ran out 3 squares away from him.
I lost lots of health when my 'zerk ran out while trying to kill some Mancubi in melee to raise my rank. I'm a sucker for achievements.
Is it better to put power or bulk on a chainsaw? Or is it just personal preference?
I tried as a last ditch attempt to win to overcharge the nuclear plasma rifle without knowing if a AoB can do that. Can they?
I was saving lots of red armor for UC, then I missed it.

This is my first post here. I've greatly enjoyed this game, and it is probably my new favorite.
I've been casually trying to get all the bronze badges and after many failed attempts at AoB and my second time with a chainsaw I made it to the Unholy Cathedral and won! I was a bit worried when it said that the building was collapsing and the screen went white.
I then got too cocky and tried to take on the City of skulls and hoped for some zerker action... It never happened and my two phase devices couldn't save me. In hindsight, I probably should not have taken the 3rd Bru and should have gone for TaN to eventually get MVm one level sooner.
