Chaosforge has its share of spammers and trolls.

Goodness... aren't you happy that we have few spammers/trolls?  Your question sounds almost as though you wished they were around!

Let's just say that the Inquisitors are doing their job with the help of the forum regulars.

i don't want any spammers/trolls in chaosforge but i am just curious of how they managed to stop them also trolls are a good sign that your website is getting popular.

I'd rather have a good SNR than to be popular with nothing but spam and trolls.

I might be a few days late but..

Another explonation;
DoomRL is highly surrounded by the community from general Doom and rogue like communities which are both from an older generation, thus attracting more mature player base generally.

Also the forums are not honestly speaking that attracting and really lack in many features that might also keep people out thus also keeping trolls/spammers out.

Well now that I actually started to look a bit better, not too many, but I must still say, the forum layout is a bit confusing and some of the features like avatars and signatures are still pretty limited, no?
