Okay, so Angel of Pacifism is an RNG-loving mess, but it's actually a lot of fun and I was starting to have a lot of success on this run; I still had a handful of Large Medkits when I entered the Tower of Babel.
And then... well, uh... how do I kill/escape the Cyberdemon?
I mean, I can't shoot at it until it dies, and after a lot of experimentation I tricked him into blowing open every "tower" thing on the map and... nope. No staircase to be found. And other AoPc successes have not killed him, so it's not like I have to invuln-nuke him.
...So how the hell (if you'll pardon the pun) do I deal with the Cyberdemon on Pacifist?

That one's easy: you don't. He's big enough to take care of himself.
