Maybe someone will give me a hint about Apostles :)

Thing is... we don't know. One or two people that have access to the code itself might be aware of specifics but they are sworn to secrecy. Some of us have our own theories but no proof so far. I heard Ao100 might giver away hints in recent versions, but not having beaten it I can't tell for sure.

Alright, people. We need to do some testing.
Let's try nuking the last level of Ao100 while invincible and nuking JC while invincible.

The thing is that the most probable ultimate ending is actaully th abscense of any. It's the easiest to code, and it's the funniest to implement. Think of it - Kornel created a worthless unique, and now sit there and laughs at everybody who is speaking about the ultimate ending. When we had JC, even the fact of his existance was carefully hidded, and the were no references to him in game. When we had a secret unique dragonslayer, we had no clues about it's existance in game. Now what we have - a reference to it in game, and even in the versions history. I don't know the truth, but it sounds too much like there is actually no special ending, and everything is just a joke of the developers.

So instead I'll say that you can get him on any challenge or non-challenge mode.

I'll add that the path to it is paved with DoomRL secrets and Almighty God Hand's private favourites.

To have Apostles rank quest you must have those conditions:
Experience rank : Cyberdemon
Skill rank : God Hand
So, now i've got this rank but i don't know what to do.
Maybe it should be Ao100 with fists, maybe nuke 100 lvl, maybe pacifist, maybe again a Ao100 UV 100% run.
Can anyone give me the difficulty, and the challenge that should be used to find this Apostle, and of course the weapons or should i nuke the last lvl? :)

Wow... really? 374 days? Lol, I don't think my laptop has even been on for that long.
If you are 18, then you've literally been playing DoomRL for about 5.5% of your whole life since the new player.wad format. Probably even more before that. C... congratulations? o.O

The answer has been hinted at several times but nobody has figured out how to do it yet, just think about what God Hand means.

God Hand... Apostles... Berserk?
My bet is, it's got something to do with Dragonslayer. Maybe like, wielding DS and wearing Berserker's Armor together... :P

reverse engineering will help me... but, maybe i'll try another Ao100 run/UV-100%
BTW:
with one of the legendary "God Hands", a pair of divine arms that were once used to save the world from a demon called Angra.

Reversing is cheating. That puts you firmly in the 'sworn to secrecy' camp.

I don't cheat... and now i don't know what to do... so if i don't have the access to the source code the only thing which could help me with info is RE, I don't want to spend a year hoplessly trying to fulfil the conditions(and idon't know what should be done).

I didn't say you couldn't do it, just that you'd become part of an exclusive club if you did.

Okay, so here's the thing. Think about the "Apostle" rank as a bonus rank of sort that you can reach eventually. It is really not worth the effort to try and attain it. When Kornel put it in, I voiced out that it was a little too unfair to the player due to the circumstances required to even get one of these things, let alone kill it. So, just treat it like a bonus rank that you can get. It was, and is, never meant to be attainable as a part of normal game play, kind of like the God Hand rank for badge count.

I rememer that on a Ao100 run there was an interesting event:
was killed by something unknown.
As far as i can remember this thing was invisible, maybe it was the enemy which i was searching for?
If so... I'll try again.
Don't remember if it was nighmare run or not... I think it should be a nighmare one, because of "Enemies indicator"

Actually, no. A fair bit of my early play involved a bit of scumming (read: I sucked. :P), which tends to rack up the play time. I haven't really played much since .992 was released, to be honest.
