I was going to try a Scavenger new master trait. Then, on level 3 I've found a Combat pistol. After that, I've found another Combat Pistol on level 4. At that moment. every monster suddenly felt that he was doomed. Dual Combat Pistols, while heavily modded, deal insane amount of damage, killing everybody in a split second.

However, that wasn't enough. Assembling a Cerberus Armor from an Onyx one was even more overpowered. Before it, Revenants were able to seriously damage me before getting killed. Indestructible armor that completely prevents almost any damage a late enemy would deal to you, what else could a marine ever want? Even the mighty Cyberdemon wasn't able to deal more damage than a former sergeant did.

So, the Ao100 is still as easy as it was before 0.9.9.3. The power of DoomGuy raises much faster than demons can handle, and by level 40 any player will find it's own overcombo that kills every demon on sight.

Requests For Features / Shooting through barrels

In Doom barrels were about half the human height, and thus a player could easily shoot enemy behind the barrel without hitting it. In DoomRL however, any shot that passes through the barrel hits it, what is incorrect I suppose. So I propose that only the shot that has the barrel as it's target should hit it, the others should just pass freely. It might need a few AI changes for monsters to recognize barrels and shoot at them.

As you see, that poor demon hit the barrel 5 times and still it is standing. Not to mention that I was terrorizing him for like 7 volleys, and still the barrel is standing there. Also, that message "You dodge" bugs me too.
To differentiate it from the other bug of this kind, here is the explosion, caused by my own shot

Requests For Features / Blood Rivers

As for me it seems that it's not right that when you spill big amount of blood into water, water is still clear without any traces of blood. So I propose that if you spill blood into the liquid, the whole flooded area blood counter increases and liquid counter decreases. When there is more blood than liquid, half of the liquid turns into blood, which has the same properties as the water, only colored in red. When there is no liquid in the area, it completely turns into blood. And also, when you spill enough blood onto the ordinary floor, it also turns into blood. Gibbed enemies drop massive amount of blood, instantly turning the cell into blood. Lost Souls and Pain Elementals do not spill blood.

This might need some balancing, because it makes N! easier and viles weaker and Mortuary easier. But it adds some flavor and makes lava and acid areas crossable.

Bug Reports / [0.9.9.2] Recharging items in the inventory

Rechargeable items, like the Blaster, will not recharge while in the inventory. It's not right, since we pretend that recharging is the property of the weapon, not of the wielder. The exception should be Necroarmor, because it's recharging is the property of the wielder.

Requests For Features / Tweaking the Level-Up Procedure

Instead of what is now, I propose adding a number somewhere on the trait viewing screen, which indicates how many traits a marine can choose. When a marine levels up, this number increases by one, and the trait selection screen automaticaly opens. And you can exit the trait selection screen by pressing the 'Esc' key.

Why this is useful? Because this will allow to take a trait later in game, after the level-up; this will fix the Angel of Pacifism trait-aquiring; this will carry more options for modding, like defining your own exp and leveling up, with the potential of decreasing it.

The vaults are supposed to store something, and monsters are supposed to be there gurding that 'something'. I don't think that vaults are supposed to store monsters.

It started as an ordinary MAc run. Until level 4, where I've found the Blaster. Not long after that, I've got a level in EE, and after that - assembled a high power blaster. And by that time, I've understood who is going to win this game. Because my firing speed was 0.2 sec, and that meant (2d7+6)x5 damage per second, resulting in a maximum of 100 damage, good knockback, and no need of ammo. Nothing was actually a problem by that time.

Until level 87, where I was reckless enough to pull a summon lever. And I was rewarded. Rewarded with 2 Cyberdemons, Nightmare cacodemon, Baron of Hell and one other monster. But even that was not a big trouble for me, because I had intuition, and so I phased out and trapped Cybies with lava. They were trying to get to me, but their way was blocked by the lava, which they were not able to pass.

Anyway, the main point of this run - the blaster deserves the status of the Unique, for how powerful it is now, when assemblies are possible.

BTW, I suppose the Berserker armor really does nothing - Kornel included it to steal extra inventory slot from anyone who believes that it actually does something.

Notice the marked phrase. And notice the undamaged room I'm currently standing in.

We all have complained about the fact that Ao100 needs more variety. But not the variety makes this challenge worth BLADE difficulty rank. There is a phrase about more enemies after level 25. But we all have seen that that's not true. And it should not be true, because having around 25 Viles and 50 Revenants isn't completeable at any case.
I propose buffing monsters up dependant on your current base level. For instance, former human at level 50 would have twice as much HP, +1 accuracy and carry 40 bullets to compensate. And other enemies would have something like this. With this, levels after 25 wouldn't just be as normal ones, while marine slowly levels up his guns, but will get harder and harder. To keep this partially fair, monsters should drop more and more ammo to prevent it from becoming as unfair as 25 V's + 50 R's.

Press "f" and wait, run if something hits you - that's the ultimate strategy for the rogue. Nothing can make this not working. And so the Rogue is the easiest class in DiabloRL. Anyway, I as always got a good load of melee weapons including ultimate Gnarled Root, which gives you Insane damage rating. I got 17-19 even with my low strength.

Graveyard / A complete new thing - Eridani PBF

So, I'm going to start a PBF in the whole new and unknown to everyone (except me) world. This world is mostly the future fantasy world with spaceships space battles. But it differs from most of this type world.

General information on world:
Tne main (as for me) race in it are Eridanis. They look much like humans except of their almost pale skin color and that they're taller than humans. But physiology of eridanis is completely different. They have telekinetic abilities and that is the basis of their build. They don't have any muscles so telekinetic power fully compensate the loss. And they can use it outside of body, but this is very exhausting to them, so they don't use it too much. Also they use the energy of the light to maintain their powers so without it after 10 or so minutes they fall unconscious and lie until light appears. Eridani's live for approximately 500 years, after it their telekinetic powers fade and they die. They're extremely fair, and almost never tell lies.

They discovered humans some time after they ventured into space. The humans were not close to the ones we are. In the past the ecology catastrophe wiped out most of the humanity, and only the most prepared survived. The remains are the most educated biologists, who managed to protect themselves and recreate the Earth and continue their studies. Although they didn't invent the good space travel, they've managed to extend their properties to be quite strong and have almost the same longlivity, as the Eridanis. The Eridani space technologies seriously overlapped the human, as well as human biology studies were much bigger than the eridani ones, so they established a long-time alliance.

After that another race joined the alliance. That was the nation of intelligent plants, who travel using special waves, unknown before. Their name can't be spelled neither in human, nor in eridani language. They decline most of their physiology studying, so they're the most mysterious race of the alliance, but besides, they're quite powerful. They travel in metallic spheres with the size approximately equal to human's size. Their technology was able to confront the eridani, but instead the technologies united making deadly creation. After their joint the power of the Alliance increased so that they could discover more of the universe.

Soon enough they discovered that their galaxy is limited and has borders. If something passes it, it mysteriously appears on the other side of galaxy. The borders were spherical. The part of the space they limit was called dimension. After the discovery the way to travel through the border was found. In this way the second dimension was found. The dominating race there was aggressive and declared war on the alliance. However, that war was won without special efforts and the natives were conquered. After the rest after the war, the third dimension was discovered.

There, the PBF should take part. The nation there is much stronger than in the second dimension, and the forces are almost equal. In one of the battles the ship was taken down. The survived crew of this ship are main heroes of the PBF.

According to PM's Silhar and thelaptop and possibly Armallion are playing. But there are still 2~3 places vacant. The PBF thould be using Cortex system.

Weapons don't have durability. Sorry to notify the typing error, but it seems funny that our game has bug even in known bugs.
