Title: Unable to fire via mouse after assembling nano-shrapnel
Post by: White Rider on April 22, 2013, 17:30
I made a nano-shrapnel super shotgun, but it was empty when I made it. As a result, I am unable to fire it with the right mouse button. But pressing f and clicking the left mouse button as a confirmation fires just fine. Attempting to fire via right mouse button has the game shouting at me that this weapon doesn't need to be reloaded.

Presumably, a way to prevent this from happening is to have the weapon loaded before assembly, but I was out of ammo. Figures, right? And it's probably not exclusive to nano-shrapnel, and probably occurs when one makes an applicable, but empty weapon with nanomanufacture ammo.

And my five groszy: similar bug just given me a cheatingly awesome weapon. Plasma Shotgun + PPPNB. It can be self-loaded or loaded manually if you have cells as well as Shottyman trait. It's hard to notice because shotgun + N is usually nano-shrapnel, but I didn't want to lose 3 dice.
By the way I suggest to bump Plasma Shotgun when it's involved into Plasmatic Shrapnel or Nano Shrapnel assembly to make those assemblies less meaningless for this weapon. For example, it will be enough to give back/add additional 3 dice.

Fixed in repo.  Next version, right clicking won't try to reload guns that don't use ammo, even if they're empty.
