Whelp, I've been working hard on a Heroes 3 review for some time. And it's finally complete!

Also a trailer! (might not look like much but it took me over 80 hours to make it)

And finally a trailer for the WoG mod

"Some time"? Aren't you about 10 years late? :P
I'll be sure to check it out, though, I think I still have the (illegal copy of) the game on CD lying around somewhere...
-
Oh please, I'm always at least 10 years out of date.
Though in this case, I was surprised to discover after I finished the review, that ubisoft is releasing Heroes 3 HD next month. So I've accidently become modern without realizing it.

That's like being hipster without being hipster.
"Pfft... I was into HoMM3 back when 640x480 was considered high definition VGA!"
-
I was definitely on this bandwagon I high school. HOMM 1-3 divided by M&M 5-7. Mostly HOMM 2 and MM7
-
M&M 4 and 5 were the best.

No, M&Ms are the best!
-
Heroes 2 had VERY deep gameplay. Plus the graphics look pretty fantastic

M&M 4 and 5 were the best.
I might have to block out some time to try them out again.
I know I put the most hours in to MM7 with MM6 being a fairly close behind. I definitely came late to the series.
Prior to MM 6/7, I put a lot of time in to all the Wizardrys and Eye of the Beholders
-
Back in 2002, we frequently held four-player hot seat HoMM3 games in our dorms room. Anyone who lost a battle against any other player had to run for beer for everyone.
Ah, the memories ...
-
Now you've all done it. You made me go and buy the MM 1-6 pack off GOG for $4.99. 728 MB!

...huh, what? I didn't knew that O_o Edit: Reading up on it it seems it's only base campaign, no expansions. Eh, not sure if I'll bother seeing as I have original HoMM3 on GoG anyway
Edit 2: And it looks like Ubisoft is trying to bullshit people into believing that HoMM3 had much worse graphics than it had: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=949321
Nope, nope, nope...
Don't waste your money man, get the GoG one and free fan patch that gives higher res and 32-bit color support.
M&M 4 and 5 were the best.
M&M 6 is da best.

O wow, that's gonna give off a real negative vibe. Luckily i still got HoMM 1,2 & 3 in the original (paper) case.

Checking out the 'Ride the Lightning' mod. It's really impressing me so far.

UPDATE: About halfway through MM4. If anything, I've gained a new appreciation for MM3 throughout this journey
