Title: Evil is hiding in the shadows. Why?

The mysterious "evil" which is shooting me(*) is hided behind the green door, and is an ordinary former human. But why don't I see him?

Post by: UnderAPaleGreySky on February 23, 2010, 05:42: Actually, this death from the shadows thing has bugged me for a while. I've been killed quite a few times by a shotgunner duo, hiding just outside my FOV.

Post by: leonresevil2 on February 24, 2010, 09:43: I had an issue just yesterday, where I could see an Imp, he could see and shoot me, but every time I shot him (with a pistol, mind you), I would end up hitting the wall. The wall crossed the default line of sight, but I could still see the imp. I would post screenshots, but I am on a school computer right now, it'll be tonight when I get to my computer.

Post by: thelaptop on February 24, 2010, 10:31: Buggy LOS is one thing that will be solved eventually, though I doubt it will be in time for the upcoming release.

Post by: The DoomRLguy on March 05, 2010, 13:30: It's worse with sergeants and no sound, because all you see is "You die...!" (There is no message for being hit by a shotgun.)
