A quick question regarding the last advice - does Juggler also help with the time it takes to equip a new weapon from inventory? I thought it's 1s no matter Juggler or not.

Ha! ToME4 has more connections to this game than you think - their new redo of the sound system (think it started with b36) was inspired by DoomRL (or at least DRL was brought in the topic discussing the subject, and shown as a prime example of how things should be done sound-effect-wise).

Huzzah!
The best i could manage for the competition. A standard H run, going the Scout+int(2)+whatever else feels kinky way.
Highlights:
- Arena Key screwed by a misclick. Decided to not restart and just roll with it.
- A pity The Wall did not load. Backpack would be so useful
- Mortuary and Spider's Lair were fun, as always. For both of them, a bit of invulnerability was available at the start. Wich allowed for a tactical placement of a nuclear charge within the graveyard. Huzzah!
- the most fun was definitely at Lava Pits. Upon entering lvl24, i noticed there are no envirosuits stored in my backpack. So, aiming at conqueror, i decided to enter Lava Pits with half of invulnerability running, 1 large and 1 small medkit, and brass balls. None of which failed me, including brass balls. At some point i was not-yet-in-the-spare-suits-room, without invulnerability, without medkits, with low ammo (just some stray shells) and on some 40% life. Huzzah! Turned out the zerk-on-hit did wonders, and allowed for a quick charge towards suits. Later on, the E popped just a few tiles away, allowing for a quick finish the melee way.
- The C itself was tossing me left and right, until i remembered to dress properly for the party, thus reducing the knockdown and allowing for a quick tet-a-tet.
- this game was incredibly low on mods. I waited with getting whizkid until i have enough mods for any advanced assembly (after getting basic tactical set), and failed horribly.
All in all - tons of fun!

Another easy-to-beat attempt. This time i did my first ever E game. It was... too easy.
Highlights include:
- getting whizkid, and then failing horribly at assembling any advance assembly
- loosing Hellgate no-damage quirk due to miscalculating distance between character and the wall (self-inflicted damage - after that i did not care about damage taken).
All in all - a small disappointment. I wont return to E without a specific need in mind. Too easy + too little special levels generated.
