Exactly how I intended it, my good man. :)

Requests For Features / Setup.exe?
« on: April 15, 2012, 15:36 »
Since there are so few keys used (compared to a lot of other RLs,) could a key editor be created for the next version on? Maybe a setup file that lets you fiddle with all kinds of stuff like fullscreen size and all that (for those of us with bad eyes?)

Doom had a setup.exe after all :)

My wife's brother and sister are home-schooled and she's well familiar with it. From what I'm told, they're not the geeky over-achieving home-schooled kids... They were like that before they got into home-schooling. Nowadays there are plenty of ways for home-schooled kids to socialize such as groups that do field trips just for home-school kids and sports leagues.

For the record, though, we're not having kids because of other kids but also because of laws pertaining to discipline and both of our bodies and mental health. I firmly believe that 10% of parents love their kids and their lives. We would not be in that 10% even if our bodies did work (and trust me, they don't.)

I was sheltered and spoiled but I always looked for knowledge about everything. I still do, in fact. I was one of those kids that talked like an adult to adults. The lack of any kind of intellectual curiosity (and the sheer numbers in which it pervades) is just maddening.

http://commonsenseconspiracy.com/2012/04/many-young-people-dont-know-the-titanic-was-real-twitter-shows-naive-comments-of-americas-youth-just-a-movie/

I was born in America, I live in America, and I will die in America. I'm glad I live in this country as opposed to some of the less developed countries out there. That being said... what the hell, man?!?! How are my countrymen and women this incredibly stupid? How can it be fixed? Can it be fixed at all?

My wife and I aren't having kids for exactly this reason. We're buying dogs. We don't have to make dogs go to schools filled with idiots like this.

edit: Found a new link. Sorry bout that.

When I donate at the end of the month, does that captcha go away? I seriously despise those things because I can't see them well enough and that voice has given me the wrong letters a few times.

I honestly really like the Doom approach to difficulty. In Doom it goes Level 1, more, harder, more ,harder, ... until the rivers run red with demon blood. Too bad other games can't take a lesson from that. RLs are generally in the same vein which is one reason why I love them. New Vegas was kind of halfway although the aforementioned quarry and a couple of other areas were a nice surprise. Anyone else get a super sledge at level 7 due to making the Caesar mad? Thank god for explosives.

This is usually the norm. If there isn't a stickied intro thread, there's an intro forum.

Didn't see an intro thread so I made one. I'm RKade and if I make it to the end of the month with money in my account, you guys'll get it (I'll alternate monthly between giving to this and giving to ADOM since I love both RLs).

My wife is bound and determined to break this habit of mine of spending every cent in my account (lifetime disability in California means you have to spend every cent or so I was told way back when) and we thought this'd be a good way to go about it. Give to a good cause and all.
