Title: Lowest score possible
Post by: Andrew Freeman on July 13, 2006, 20:07
I thought it would be interesting to see how LOW a score I could get! Here it is! -------------------------------------------------------------- DoomRL (v.0.9.8 (WIN-S)) roguelike post-mortem character dump --------------------------------------------------------------
Mega Shmuck, level 1 soldier, killed by a former human on level 1 of the Phobos base. He survived 672 turns and scored 43 points.
He killed 0 out of 6 hellspawn. (0%) My, was he a wimpy chump.
-- History ---------------------------------------------------
He started his journey on the suface of Phobos. There finally he was killed by a former human.
-- General ---------------------------------------------------
Before him 50 brave souls have ventured into Phobos: 27 of those were killed. 3 of those were killed by something unknown. 2 didn't read the thermonuclear bomb manual. And 6 couldn't handle the stress and commited a stupid suicide.
Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already! Is he immortal? 12 souls claim to have killed him... 6 sacrificed itself for the good of mankind. 1 killed the bastard and survived. 5 showed that it can outsmart hell itself.

Mwah hah hah hah!
-------------------------------------------------------------- DoomRL (v.0.9.8 (WIN-S)) roguelike post-mortem character dump -------------------------------------------------------------- Doofus, level 1 soldier, killed by a former human sergeant on level 1 of the Phobos base. He survived 852 turns and scored 0 points.
He killed 1 out of 6 hellspawn. (17%) (One guy was shot by a soldier) Who gave him the ticket to hell, anyway?
Apparently monsters killed by other monsters don't add to your score.
-- History --------------------------------------------------- He started his journey on the suface of Phobos. There finally he was killed by a former human sergeant.
Apparently, the lower your health is when you die, the lower your score. I had this guy race through and stand in front of the seargent.
It's probably not possible to get a negative score, so see if you can get 0 points and the lowest ending health (since that seems to affect the score the most here).
