Version 0.9.9, Windows XP, Windows version of DoomRL.
Sorry, I don't have a screenshot for this (when I realized what happened, I wasn't able to go back and check on it. I was in an Angel of Pacifism run, and a lsot soul was in my way), but I can explain it with text.
Okay, imagine this setup:

Now, that's what I saw as I passed through the hall.
When I lost vision, this was the hall:

#####
In other words, the former human was occupyign the same space as a wall.
A few facts about the level that may help in identifying this:
*The map was the one with rooms and halls, but it filled the entire available space as possible (it was like, level 3).
*I -think- the former was stuck in a vault wall, but I couldn't verify it.
Again, sorry for no screenie, but that's the bug.
