I felt bad about not getting a submission in on time, so I made one up for Juggler just now.  (One of my favourite traits!)  :)  I just did it because I want to contribute and I don't care if it isn't admissible for contest purposes.

I never use the U key for med-packs, but I have, on a few occasions, accidentally pushed the I and O keys at the same time (since they're right next to each other) and used whatever item was in inventory slot O.  It's really annoying to waste large med-packs that way.  :P

Yeah, I think Strongman Diamond is probably the easiest Diamond to get now.  Of course, it still takes some measure of planning and cunning and strategy to pull it off, so congratulations are in order.  Well done!  :)

Partly because you had already done it and I wanted to do something different, and partly because it makes me feel like a badass, playing with Gun Kata.  :D  I'm not kidding, actually; I like to envision myself doing the shoot-dodging and auto-insta-reloading maneuvers in the middle of shoot-outs.  There's just something immensely satisfying about it.  :)  I get the same feeling when playing Nethack as a Valkyrie and pull off a particularly satisfying kill with a thrown Mjollnir.  Part of the fun of Roguelikes, for me, is imagining what it all looks like.

As for ammo usage, I spent most of the game carrying around 600 or more bullets at a time and all it takes is a few Former Captains to replenish it.  Nightmare difficulty makes it easier in that if I was ever low, all I had to do was camp out a Former Captain corpse and I would have abundant bullets again.  Ammo chains were also useful for the extra bullets; I found 5 during the course of this run and I didn't even have to use them until near the end.

I didn't feel that I had enough health and armour at the time to attempt it.  I probably could have done it, but I didn't really need to and I didn't want to risk the run.

Ironically, I wasn't feeling confident enough to do it.  :P

It seems to be random.  I had a game where he spawned Lost Souls, Barons, Knights, and Cacodemons...  not Revenants, though!  :o

The funny thing about this run is that I didn't even mean to start it.  I pushed the "Challenge game" button by mistake when I meant to exit because I had to leave home, but then I shrugged my shoulders and figured I'd play a quick Angel of OverConfidence game, figuring I'd probably die in a few minutes, just like all my other attempts...  (Incidentally, on one such attempt, I started in an Arachnotron cave and died before I even got a move!)  :P  but then it was going so well, that I ended up leaving the game running all day and I came back and finished it this evening.  Ta da!  Daredevil Diamond!  :D

I played it with my favourite build, Vampyre.  :)  Killing the AoD was the first big challenge that I failed in most of my other attempts, but this time, I got lucky and found an invulnerability next to the entrance to the UC.  Once I had the Longinus Spear, it made it fairly easyish to get up to Vampyre trait and the rest of it was smooth sailing, exploiting Pain Elemental farming to its fullest.  ;)  (I should probably stop doing that, but it's so much fun!)  :P

Since 2DeviationsOut got Marksman Diamond with a Sharpshooter build, I figured I'd try for the Gun Kata build for mine.  :)  I was also (incidentally)  ;)  lucky enough to find a Grammaton Cleric Beretta!  Grammaton Cleric using Gun Kata = Epic!  :D  I just wish I'd had presence of mind to swap the Beretta into my primary slot at the end, so I could get the Grammaton Cleric Cross.  (Assuming I get it for killing the SMM now)  I only had it in my prepared slot because I can't dualreload when it's in my primary slot.

I really like the new Marksman Diamond requirements.  Funnily enough, I've never really tried a "proper" pistol build in a Nightmare game.  It's challenging, without totally crippling the build like in previous versions.  It's a very different style of play where I have to be more creative about how to destroy bodies, since I can't blow them up with a rocket launcher or gib them with a berserk chainsaw/spear.  :P

I only had one med-pack and one suit of armour going into Hell's Arena, so I wasn't feeling confident enough to try to complete it.  By Hell's Armory, though, I had Gun Kata, so I gave it a try and had an easier time of it than I expected.  I was able to corner-shoot the Shambler a fair bit and he very obligingly died in a doorway for easy body disposal.  :P  Despite what the mortem says, I didn't flee from the Lava Elemental.  I killed him and took the Lava Element, but it didn't count as complete because one of the Revenants respawned before I got to the stairs.  (Speaking of which, beating the Lava Pits on Nightmare AoMr should be worthy of a medal just for all those bullet-resistant enemies!  I used far too many bullets on that level)

Not much else to say except that it didn't actually take 15 hours; I just left the game on overnight and did other stuff like watch a movie while the game was running because I can't save it on Nightmare difficulty.

Gargulec medal on HMP is quite impressive!  Well done!  And yes, I'd say the Scythe's alt-fire is the weapon of choice for Mortuary.

I usually don't rely on them much, but in this case, with the slow reloading Trigun in a Sharpshooter build, it seemed prudent.

I recently lost a Nightmare Marksman game because I didn't realize the ammochain that was in my prepared slot was empty and it took me two seconds to reload my Trigun instead of "quickly" reloading.  Finishing off an ammo box doesn't happen very often, so unless you're checking your inventory every few seconds, the above scenario could be fairly common and fairly deadly.

My suggestion is to have an eye-catching message appear when an ammo box runs out of ammo.  (Perhaps in another colour?)  Even something simple like, "Your ammochain is empty!" would be a big help.

I thought the wall did collapse when all enemies were killed?

I've played every version since 0.9.9.1 and it's never done that in any game I played.  There was some talk of making that happen a while back, but I don't think it ever happened.
