When I got the Jackhammer on my last AoSh run, I had a problem with ammo. Did you just have that many shells that you did'nt run low? Because I actually ran out in Mortuary, had to grab some while Barons and Arachnotrons kept shooting me.

You almost got Eagerness Platinum, I'm still trying to get Eagerness Silver. Though I am trying to get it at the same time as Lava Silver, and the 2 last runs I died in Lava Pits (Rocket Jumping was too painful) and Vaults (Pro tip: Avoid Vaults. Barons are too powerful there where you can't really hide anywhere).
Still, great run! Too bad you had to die to JC.

Goddamn, you sure encountered a lot of Arch-Vile complexes.
Well, they did help me get to Arch-Vile Rank. But yeah, maybe they went a little too vile-happy. Maybe that's why there were no Cyberdemons...

So, playing Angel if Impatience, I wanted to grab Lava Silver (Lava Pits on AoI) as well as Eagerness Silver. I was playing a Shottyhead build and had a Super Shotgun + Assault Shotgun (From Mortuary).
I make it to the level right before the Lava Pits. I score a Supercharge, but no Envirosuit or an invulnera sphere. After some experimentation with rocket jumping, I decide on Angelic Armor and P-modded Plasteel boots.
Long story short, I didn't make it. *sigh*.

Any particular reason why you assembled Power Armor as opposed to waiting for one more P-mod and doing Nanofiber Skin?

Well, for one thing, with Nanofiber Skin Armor I would not have been able to equip and thus mod other armours...such as the Cerberus Armor or what I hoped would have been the Fireshield.

Ao100 YAAM requires a lot of patience, so congratulations.
Notes:T mod on you combat pistol doesn't do anything as with SoG5 you have 0.1s firetime anyway.S mod doesn't help much too as with EE3 your accuracy in your FOV is 98% anyway with combat pistol.
And Bulk-modding boots is not the best idea i think - it reduces movespeed bonus.
The T mod I honestly did'nt think at that point.
The S mod, I would have liked S2 to have perfect accuracy outside my range, but it was a bit too late at that point.
And bulk-modding boots: I did'nt even know that bulk mods on boots actually reduced movement speed. Had I known that, I would have not bothered modding the boots anymore.

I decided to play another Ao100 run on HNTR for two reasons:
1) To see how good a Sharpshooter build really is;
2) To get some assemblies and get closer to technician and armourer platinums and DIAMON-er, sorry, got too enthusiastic there. Diamonds.

The run was quite eventful, with lots of uniques, exotics (3 phaseshift armors in one run and 2 in one level? Really?) and, of course, enemies.

I don't know if I should be relieved or dissapointed, but no Cyberdemons, no lava elementals, 2 shamblers, 1 nightmare arch-vile which I did'nt even see and 1 agony elemental. Come on game, are you going easy on me?

A bunch of former complexed and arch-vile complexed did slow me down...a little bit.

The modded red armor? I wanted to get a fireshield, but no onyx mod packs...yeah.

All in all, I got these new assemblies: Assault Cannon, Hyperblaster, Cerberus Armor, Cerberus Boots, Demolition Ammo.

What next? Probably Ao100 on UV, gonna try and skip HMP.

Marksman bronze on N!? Well, it's obvious you were going for all 5 of the Marksman badges, but still.
Is a MSs build really that good? Because I'd imagine the first part to be very difficult to get past because you don't get a quick damage boost via Dualgunner.

If there's one thing to change, it's to invulnerability, and that's to make it go dark when there's less than 10 turns left, as Klear mentioned, to at least be able to safely use a nuke. Of course, "Safe" and "Nuke" don't tend to go hand to hand...

Maybe less of a stupid and more of a sudden thing that happened, but ~120-130 runs ago, when I was still trying to beat AoMr on HMP...
I reached the Vaults with the Arena Master's Staff. I was in a near-perfect position to win with tons of ammo and a few large med packs. So, I...well, here's the last messages.

You picked up a large med-pack.
 There is a lever here.
 You pull the lever... Green acid covers the floor! Argh!!! Acid!
 Argh!!! Acid!
 Argh!!! Acid!
 You use a large med-pack. You feel fully healed.
 There are stairs leading to The Vaults here.

Yes, even though I had nanofiber red armor, I was brought from 100% to 0 in one turn. Long story short, I will only open the vaults on HMP from behind one of the walls that don't open. FYI, it was a Mancubus.

Okay, a few things to mention.
1) I used a regular reload. I should have ran first, I realise that now. But still, when JC is much easier than the SM, and JC is supposed to be the true final challenge...disproportionate? A 6d6 rocket launcher that needs reloading after every shot + monster summons VS a (3d5-2)x8 plasma-damage dealing chaingun that doesn't need reloading...
2) I never even found the dragonslayer. If I did, I think I would have tried to pick it up :P
3) I am probably gonna try and do a few UV standard runs, at least until I get the Standard UV badges. After that I'll try UV AoMC to get Gatekeeper and Scavenger Diamond.
4) I guess I should also mention that the damage the SM dealt I vastly underestimated. I thought that she dealt (2d5)x3 damage, not (3d5-2)x8

So, playing AoP again, trying to beat it (still not nearly as hard as AoI, let me tell you that).

I had such an epic run too. Hell's Arena no damage (Int2 is a MASSIVE help there), only got hit one time in The Wall because a Baron strayed a bit too low and hit me while covered, Anti-Freak Jackal, Grammaton Cleric Beretta (I seriously wished that I had taken Gun Kata at that point), first ever BFG10k (Leaving only the Dragonslayer among uniques to pick up to confirm that I got it).

Using the Anti-Freak Jackal for taking out long-range targets and the Nuclear Plasma Rifle for heavy-duty damage if an enemy got too close for comfort, I made it through most of the levels with relative ease.

Lava pits were a real pain because I only had 1 envirosuit and no phases. Somehow I walked through lava and eventually made it to more envirosuits. After that clearing the place out was a cakewalk.

At the end of level 23 I was out of med-packs and down to a mere 4% health (2HP). With the help of Int2, I snuck up on her, used the lava element and unleashed hell upon her. The invincibility ended faster than I expected, though. I had used up most of my weapons.

Here's the amazing part: I was at 84% health (42 health). I had onyx-modded red armor. The SM was at Mortally Wounded. I reloaded the Missile Launcher...and was killed instantly. Did the reload really last THAT LONG to give the SM god knows how many attacks killing me instantly? Ugh, and I wanted to get the Grammaton Cleric Cross as well... I think that if the reload really took that long, the only feasible action would have been to just run behind a corner, switch to the Anti-Freka Jackal that I haven't used yet and use that to bring her down to Almost Dead, switch to and reload the Beretta and then, using full automatic, kill her with that. Ugh...so close...

A better tactic would be slaughtering Lost Souls that a pain elemental spawns, preferably with a butchers cleaver, even more preferably on a Vampyre build. Might not get experience, but will get Berserker ticks.

Awww, and when I got a UV YAAM conqueror on AoMC, no one even posted in my thread =( Though that was probably it was my 2'nd, 1'st time I died to the SM.
Oh well, I'll live with it. Anyway, grats Klear! You're starting to score these diamonds! I should probably aim for a few of these as well, Scavenger, Gatekeeper...that is, after I get a few more silvers and golds (AoI, AoP victories have so far eluded me...)

Why dont you put nuclear plasma in off-hand?
I forgot that it loads when in off-hand. I just went in with Beretta and Shotgun, hoping that it would be enough.

I was about to ask why you didn't do the Halls of Carnage, but then I understood which challenge you were doing. I haven't tried AoP myself, yet, so knowing the the BFG will be out of reach beforehand will likely be a big help.

But then I'd probably go for a build with better chances of dodging stuff, like MGK or MSh...
I'd imagine a Cateye build to be a good choice when you're avoiding damage, namely you'll see and kill enemies before they get into attack range.
And yeah, I did'nt do Halls of Carnage because normally it's self-sufficient with the Supercharges. Which is one of the things you can't use in AoP.
Also, there's a BFG in City of Skulls. I did'nt do it because it was the City of Skulls.
