Bug Reports / Some sounds' volume

The chainsaw motor often sounds as if it were far away even if it's always next to the player. Sometimes it is even completely silent.

I also noticed, that Cacodemons produce very unpleasant high frequency shriek. It's very annoying at closer distances, so even if it's taken from original doom, I would suggest turning it down a bit.

Bug Reports / Blocking by barrels in AoB

My friend was just playing in AoB mode and he had to quit because he encountered barrel in a corridor which was the only way to get through. The barrel was blocked by an Imp from the other side and that imp stood still because he was blocked too (do Imps open doors?).
There should be some command to destroy/do something with barrels by hands/knife or whatever you use to avoid such stupid endings :P I know it happens extremely rare, but...

Thanks to Krishh's advice (in his AoB victory post) concerning traits order (modyfing it with Hellrunner to dodge Cybie's rockets) the game was just a piece of cake. The first easy moment came when I finally saw staircase to the Chained Court (*grin*). And the second one - my first visit to the Unholy Cathedral being properly equipped :P AoD, taken by mistake as an Arachnotron was pretty tough! But the reward was awesome! I'll join the LS worshipers cult :P
The game after that was very easy. Arachnotrons dying after one jab. I was wondering whether to visit the Mortuary or not (that would make my second visit there). Finally, I decided to take this risk, so I collected some powerup (I guess it was a Berserk Pack), walked down the nearest stairs... and emerged on level 5 of Phobos Hell :P Ooops, wrong staircase :> Didn't see its color in powerup mode :P

Cybie was just... well, pathetic. I waited for him to come behind some wall and then walked out. He didn't even shoot.

DoomRL is truly a masterpiece :)

Requests For Features / Extended char info

I thought it would be helpful if player could see bonuses given by his traits (instead of only their names). Player stats not shown before mortem such as HP or to-hit should also be shown somewhere. Damage (max, min, avg after bonuses from SoB/G) or shooting/walking speed would be nice, too :)

(unfortunately, Kornel rather wants to keep it all secret :P )

Bug Reports / Medkits' colors bug [FIXED]

I've noticed that sometimes small and large medkits have the same colour on map (red). Normally, smaller versions are kinda pink. It happens no sooner than when large medkits are starting to generate, but again - not always, even after that. I've tested it on one level, where on its left side dropped small medkits were red and on its right side - pink. Pretty strange, isn't it? :>

It's annoying that you cannot use a medkit (by picking up) in Angel of Impatience challenge when your backpack is full. It should be done somehow directly (using by picking).

A simmilar thing is with taking off an equiped armor or a weapon with full inventory - it should drop to the ground or there should be at least some message telling that your backpack is full. Now, no info is given and player repeats it couple of times before finding out what's going on.

I've noticed double apostrophes in some messages in a game, eg. afrter picking up a BFG - NOW YOU''L GET LOOSE or Fry''em clean..., or even Hell''s arena.
Version I play is 0.9.8.5 under Win2k.
