remote hack makes this challenge a lot easier to progress with, i accidentally got meleed by my own friendly cri bot when it walked into me. last few levels i was completely dry on ammo except for one bullet in the golden gun. lots of siege ravagers and archreavers chasing me through the last level, thought i might get lucky and be able to smoke/gas/grenade my way out but no such luck

is it possible to introduce quick rebinding weapon slots? for example if i like to play with a chaingun on 1, rocket on 2 and shotgun on 3, could you do that through a key command vs dropping and repicking up everything?

also, need to play around a little more, but if tech is going to be kill based, should the power scale with enemy strength rather than static number depending on pure bot vs cyborg? im not sure how it would work to balance the early game, but killing a cri bot feels like it should give you more back than a security drone

came really close on this run, would have made it if i had properly reloaded at the right time, some additional thoughts on new version:
removal of son of a bitch definitely makes the game more challenging overall... 44 rifle is significantly weakened, which makes the callisto 2-3 far more difficult. autos are powerful enough to get the job done especially in tandem with the rocket launcher
i dont know if the ai aggressiveness was tweaked for this version or if it was just the seed but it seems like the CRI really ramped up the infighting. do CRI bots attack fellow CRI humans? on io 1 it looked like a few bots had wiped out all the marines, but im not sure if thats what actually happened here
i like the idea of mod slots on weapons but makes whizkid far weaker of a trait - for technician its still worth getting whizkid 2 for the tinkerer trait (imo essential for tech runs), but not sure if its worth taking for other classes, will have to play around some more
arena still sometimes doesnt show as cleared like here when i kill off all the monsters. other times it does - does this require exploring all squares?
NY reload is a lot of fun, i was able to get to europa central dig on easy once, but most times die pretty quick

impressive run indeed, i can't get past callisto on AoV
did you find a plasma shotgun at all? with a p-mod (or maybe two?) you should be able to oneshot archreavers when they're at 100% range

new changes are cool, though im not sure how i feel about scout skills based on opening chests where the other two classes are kill based. dismantle is super, super helpful in the early game as theres no penalty for throwing your starting accuracy mod into your starting pistol

congrats on the win - the boss fight on AoC is a lot harder now that the summoner teleports away and regens hitpoints. i got this win before the change when the summoner would just charge you, and it took about 5 rockets before it went down
i do think the juggler speed is accurate though - plenty of times i've gotten hit in the time between switching weapons. i'm not sure if 75% faster means 150 - 75, or .25*150

congrats on the win - i can't get anywhere with the marine and consider technician to be the easiest, so even more impressive you were able to clear cri laboratories with a marine build

was playing angel of shotgunnery and i got a poisoned auto-shotgun - very useful for wearing down enemies over long distance, but sometimes when enemies would die from a blast, their corpse would appear to still be taking damage - the body would highlight in red and it made the damage sound/animation over it

angel of carnage is a lot of fun - on easy i cleared the floors up to the military barracks damageless. i would certainly agree that containment area and cri labs arent the best choice for this build though
