Title: Tactics on AoB
Post by: Supernaut on August 15, 2008, 05:53
What are your tactics / strategy in this challenge? I often seem to die at levels 3-4 due to plenty of former seargents and imps clustered in big rooms.

You really need to use the "item trap" strategy. It's the best strategy for AoB I know. At least for item collecting enemies.

Don't count on it working in the next version though...

This is good, Berserker - mindless atacker, not sneaky ambusher.

Then it could be good if monsters could follow you, so you don't need to exploit them picking up items.

Don't count that Kornel will compensate it anyhow for melee characters. So expect AoB to become even harder than it was before.))

Aww please, PLEASE keep the collecting monsters feature/glitch (I call it a very good feature) as it's like the best way to do one of the hardest challenge games ever. PLEEAASE! *_*

I notice that after I get the chainsaw, I dont do the item trails anymore.  I don't think it'll be too crippling to take it out.  It's kinda comical sometimes though watching them pick up items as I unload on them.
