This is insanely unfair difficulty:
Nope, it just will suffer from current difficulty problem even more: (almost) impassable early levels, cakewalk after armory.
And surely chaos marshals are nonexistent (and do not really shows any specific skills since majority of angelic badges just requires A LOT of luck).
All we need is to adjust current UV and N to make them a little harder since game became easier in past few releases.

Not quite, I don't think it has to be N!.

What I have figured out is there is a major misconception about the Berserker Armor and the DS: you actually have to pick UP the DS in order to wear the Berserker Armor.

So, you are able to pick up the DS FIRST, but not USE it until you get the Berserker Armor to drop?
It HAS to be N! to spawn DS/BA on scripted places (but they can also be spawned by random as any other unique).  You ARE able to use  DS without BA. Actually you are unable to use something else because DS goes into you hand on pick up and cannot be swapped (but you can pick something in offhand with "u" - that should be handy for MMK making it really badass). You must have DS to wear BA (but it is kinda crappy armour, i suggest wearing it only for final fight).

Well, when trying basic, simple things doesn't work, you tend to start thinking the solution is more complex. If it were really as simple as pressing "g" or "u", we'd all have it already. I will never be disappointed if I manage to pick it up - whatever the method is, it's too complicated for me.
It really IS that basic and simple. There is nothing illogical or overcomplicated.

Well, another DS-wielder here. I needed it for tech diamond so I took it.
OK, i will keep this "secret", but... let's just say this "secret" is hilarious and dissapointing. The only thing i'll say that this thread is a big overthinking.

There is an easier way to get his head that is extra effective on AoMC - just use the BFG and get him with blast while he cannot get you with his rockets. No need in DM, speed or luck with dodge. One B3 bfg will be enough for hmp even after nerf.

no-no, you need only try to pick up it and it counts as *found* and add Dragonslayer to list of items.
In .997 you must pick it up.

You haven't really played on UV/N!, right? Go ahead and try to take out those hellknights on dlvl3 or hellbarons on dlvl6 without cornershooting. Bonus for hell arena on N!.
This is the main tactic for most builds on earlier levels and these levels are already hard enough (actually it's the hardest part of most games).
We already have Cybbie that ignores corners and that is more than enough.

As for sounds - this isn't really int2 because you cannot define monster's position on y-axle. And if there is a lot of monsters (they are often come in packs, you know) then you cannot really define anything.

This thread's got me thinking about how I'm going to get Lava Silver Badge.
(For the record, Lava Silver requires clearing either Mt. Erebus or Lava Pits on Angel of Impatience)
Just make a lava boots. This will require some luck with onyx in armory/lab, but remember that being damageless there doubles your chances.

By phasing in the middle vault and cracking walls of others.

You could switch you tactic to run and walk over the lava. It hurts, but better than death.
And yes, it's a bug of level generation. Exits dont play any role here.

Tried to play this. Well... I guess I became too adjusted on graphic version. Especially that shoot-on-click feature. Maybe you will make at least some placeholders for absent sprites? Colored letters will be okay.

Furthermore, there would be two options: The Lost Souls die with Cybie in the same way JC's summons die on his death, or you would have to hunt them down prior to taking down the big C himself, which would add to the challenge of YAAM, which is a good thing IMO. Could be annoying and random with the soul's new behaviour, though. They have a tendency to rush to the other side of the level and get lost.
Or maybe you must kill all of them to be teleported to hell. That will give you time to heal\reload\change equipment after hard (khe he, "hard". At least it intended to be so)  bossfight. Currently you are teleported "as is" and, we-ell, say hello to arachocave or few VMB packs.

Mancubi have 100% dodge chance, so if you are moving they will aim at your previous position regardless of your stats and traits. And that's about thier middle shot, side shots directed at some angles.
