I mentioned in a mortem of mine that I think that exotics should have a level feeling that is different from a uniques, so that compulsive searching isn't necessary to guarantee you aren't missing one.

I don't think their sound has changed at all. However, since they were buffed, they now have a chance of actually hitting you, so maybe this was just them hitting you for the first time and you noticed it?

It's nice to know that Arachs are still extremely deadly even after receiving their nerf.

With the 'sealing it with lava' idea, you'd need an envirosuit pack or two, which is far easier to obtain than the phase devices. Also, for an idea of mine, how about make it similar to the wall, with a single large room in the center surrounded by many layers of destructable walls, and then you just need a bunch of missiles to get in.

As none of you might know, I'm a college student has a very limited amount of free time. However, I still feel that it's worthwhile to spend some of this valuable free time in order to try out the new Doomrl version. This was nice, and I completed a personal goal of mine to get enough badges in a single run to unlock challenge mode. To give an opinion of the new version, I like exotics. I especially like the fact that I get the missile launcher for completing the wall, WAY more useful than an advanced rocket launcher. However, I somewhat doubt the exotics. I doubt them because in their transition from uniques to exotics, they've lost the level feeling. This forces me to look all over every level if I want to see if there is one, while with a unique, I don't need to bother if I didn't get a level feeling. I think there should be SOME form of level feeling in order to see if their is one.

Hmm, I re-downloaded the game, and the newly downloaded version works fine. Maybe there's just something wrong with my flashdrive?

This is very odd. I have the latest version of Doomrl on a flashdrive which I carry around, and I had no problem playing before, but now it refuses to start. It does show some sort of error briefly before closing, but I don't know what it means:



Could anyone help me out?

Special: This guns is massively powerful, shooting out a torrent of death whereever you point it. However, the recoil from this gun is so intense it will knock you back 2 squares whenever you fire it, and then needs a 4 second reload. Also, seeing as how it's not a shotgun, cannot be quickloaded with shottyman.

Where do you get that greens are like Onyx's? Onyx has infinite durability, greens don't. Also, I don't get why you "can't" use armors for gifting anymore, it's not like anything with even an iota of usefulness needs to be hoarded beyond all reasoning.

Besides, this actually makes greens a tad more useful, since before you could only wear them until they have below 50% durability, and then you'd have to switch it out or take it off to avoid the -5% speed penalty since the armor was no longer benefiting you in any way.
