We can just nerf badges from Dual-Angels,
Somehow i got a feeling that i suggested it in beta1 or beta2 topic.
Noone believed me at that time though. >_<

As for scout bonus: this is the only bonus that is applied another way. Scouts have 0.91s not 0.9s action time of actions that take 1s.

I'm 97% sure that matters hp that you actually lost and not initial damage.

I think DG isn't going to help much. I assume you'll be mostly using GCB in single and sometime semi-auto modes so dual shooting from GCB and EP will empty EP while GCB will still have 12 bullets left. Of course you can try reloading in the middle of the fight but it's unconvenient.
Another reason not to use DG is that it's annoying to constantly setup 2 pistols when you also use other weapons.
My advice: screw DG, get SoG3, get EEm after that take SoB(optional, but it helps), then max SoG after lvl12.
However if you find combat pistol, then DG is worth taking.

Added after reading edited version: ouch.

You can't get Iron Skull on Ao100. It's specifically excluded.
And it's impossible to get it by simply playing. There's not enough healing sources to get hit that much and still don't die.
MVm is super-boring, but it's the only way. It's the only trait that heals you.

Yep.
Vampire build + pain elemental(s). Take your time.
Also iirc 2dev got it through some bug on AoHu, you can try asking him.

Nightmare! / [N!|YAAM|YAFW] I want angelic badges too!
« on: March 25, 2013, 13:09 »
And so i finally got some.
Got scavenger diamond through multiple uses of AS.
Nearly died in Limbo (first time there).
Other than that i can only say that MMB kicks ass.
Last time i checked char screen i took about 2100 damage. Guess i'm not getting fancy no-damage badges in observable amount of time.

Oh, and ripper rocks too. 0.22s attack times with Fin3 and T-ripper.

Fail to see the connection between your post and chainfiring.
If you mean that you prefer shotguns over rapidfire weapons then, well, that's your choice, however in the late game rapid-fire weapons are vastly superior to shotguns.

MAc is perfectly fine without nuclear plasma. It's just a small bonus.
Having 2-3 stacks of cells is no big deal.

And yeah: rapid-fire is all about killing things before they even shoot.
MEn problem is that while you may be okay with standing like a badass and chainfiring, your armor is not. And it scales bad with difficulty. While  on HTNR/HMP you can be okay with standing toe-to-toe to everyone, on UV/N! you're just losing ton of hp and ammo.

It's rarely useful, that much is true.
Aside from MEn, the only reason to chain-fire is if you have nowhere to go and you can kill your enemies in no less than 4 standard volleys.

Died in Containment area during my N!/100% run.
Easier than the wall? No way.
Suddenly there's ton of enemies behind you, no cover in front of you, and you're pretty much screwed if you don't have a phase device. Perhaps with missile launcher and several tons of rockets it's possible, other than that i see no way out.
Compare that to the Wall, where you choose how you're going to fight and always can back out if things go wrong.

Phobos Lab is much harder then Military Base. N! demons can rip doomguy in pieces extremely fast anyway and here they're stuck, meaning that you need to come close to get them and uh-oh, they're already eating. Non-melee builds have it incredibly tough.

shot 1 would do 9*2.5*(1-0.1*4)-6 = 7.5 damage
P-modded DS is 10d3, not 9d4, so:
First shot would do 10*2*0,6 - 6 = 6 dmg, second would deal 20*0,5 - 6 = 4. Whoopping 10 damage.
From range of 6 tiles and more damage is most likely 1.

@LuckyDee
Never underestimate huge DS damage dropoff and the fact that armor is applied twice against shrapnel. Shooting with DS from more than 4-5 tiles is completely useless.

As for the strategy: you could equip shell box, wait until shambler is near wall, and simply shoot him at point-blank(or one tile away from him) and reload until it died. Of course you would constantly get hit, but it's quite reliable method.

Double shotgun has huge damage dropoff. It's doing good only on very short range. Most of the time combat is better

Pumping + reloading takes 0.2s + reload time, why could it be anything else?
