Ooh, you got to see the special nuking JC message!  :)

Klear Nukem doesn't know how nukes work?  THE SCANDAL!  :P

Seriously, though, Emulord is correct.  That's why having more speed is useful in AoRA.

*embarrassed*

Wait... I though nukes are counted in turns, not time. You should be able to make the exactly same amount of steps whether you are fast or slow...

YAAM is YAAM, whether you sacrificed yourself for the good of humanity or not (no need for the YASD tag).

And yes, non-pistols are not useful on AoMr at all.

Well... theoretically you could get a benefit from a knife if you went with Malicious Blades, but that's hardly worth the wasted brute traits.

Why were you carrying a knife on AoMr? I can't be used at all, can it? Also, juggler doesn't strike me as a good choice with a Sharpshooter build...

Nice work! I love these first win mortems - all the awards in one place look awesome.

66
The second is simply so a gun can be modded. A (9d3)x2 DB-shotty with less spread isn't really that good, neither's a single-fire with a CS's fire cone. A CS or AS with a bullet-fire or rail-gun-fire-with-drop-off might be pretty sweet though. It just feels stupid dumping an S-mod because you're not a whizz-kid. Any better suggestions?

You actually can make a plasmatic shrapnel even without WK... And not all mods are supposed to be useful for every build.

I still don't think it's a good idea to have an item combo which, among other things, makes you impervious to cyberdemons...

I've been using nanofibre armour on vampyre runs occasionally. Unless I find an indestructable armor, I tend to run around naked for most of the later part of the game with that build...

Also, I just realized that Gooselord1's advice was for arena, not anomaly...

When I'm playing arena on n!, I usually just try to complete one or two stages and exit prematurely when things begin to turn sour. It was a great boost of confidence for me when I managed to snatch the arena pwnage medal on AoMC, but so far I haven't been able to clear it in normal play.

Personally, I'd just deny any badge gains in dual angels. If you can do it on a a dual challenge, either it will be a child's play with just one challenge, or the combination is helping you out, while dual angels should be more challenging. Of course, the angelic badges requiring dual challenge would be excepted from this.

The Arena on Nightmare is annoying, but if you have enough medikits you can let Cacodemons shoot at you while standing around corpses to destroy them. Not a great solution, but the best I know of.
I didn't have so much trouble with the dead demons, rather the ones that still lived, though maybe the cacos should help with that too...

71
Shellbox only gets used when you are reloading manually, not by moving with shottyman (unless you run out of normal shells). Maybe that's your problem? It's good though - when reloading on the move, the reload time can't get any shorter, so it saves you the shellbox for when you'll need it.

72
Hmm.. I might try making a nanofibre armour next time... I always get chewed up in the n! anomaly. I never managed to clear it without an invulnerability, and I still got killed with an invunl there at least once...

How much HP armors have?

In other words, how much effective damage you have to take for your armor to go down from 100% to 0%?

Almost all armors that are not indestructible have a durability rating of 100%, with rare exceptions like Fireshield, Tower Armor and Gothic Armor.. Does that mean that all destructible armors aside the aforementioned three effectively have identical durability?

...and according to this, you lose as many durability points as HP with every attack, except for acid damage (barons) which doubles the durability hit.

Yeah, when I first got it, I felt like experimenting. Good thing you didn't =)

There have already been two strange encounters with large black rat(s?) during the storyline, so I think that's what that refers to.

In any case, good to know we have audience! Maybe you'll even join the fun at some point...
