Title: 3d Art Inspired by DoomRL
Post by: Shinji_Ikari_9th on March 06, 2011, 22:50
Last week I found myself thinking about the Angel of Marksmanship challenge of DoomRL and wondered if I could capture the feel of it in the renders I do in my spare time.

These are the results of my attempt:
He's heard the enemy approaching from behind, and wondered, were there enough rounds loaded in his sidearms?
---
(https://dl.dropbox.com/u/22879643/Renders/Angel%20of%20Marksmanship%20(DoomRL)V2.jpg)
Almost the same as the first image, but look at the sidearms...
---
Hope they are well received by the DoomRL community.

Sure enough, I don't see them either, but it seems copy/pasting the links from the quote work. Image tags removed from the above so others can check em out. Not too shabby.

I think it's because the images GET commands are intercepted by googlegroups.com, so you don't get to see them.

Try changing the img tags to url tags instead -- might work better.

This is my first attempt at posting images here, so sorry for them not showing up.
I've made them URLs now so they should work, though if anyone could point me to someplace they can be hosted at and be scene here, it would be appreciated.  Thanks.

There's a great utility out there called dropbox that lets you download a small application to drag and drop your files to an internet hosting site (after you create an account).

Their program even includes a "Public" folder, which you can use to automatically generate links to the items you're hosting.

When you sign up, you get 2 gigs of storage. If you wanted to join and get an extra 250MB, you could use this link (http://db.tt/fgAmMmk). Yes, it would also give me free storage as well. It's just that awesome. ;)

P.S. If you prefer, you could just use it online, but the desktop client is just so simple to use.

Wow. That's...wow. Great work! Great atmosphere, great angle, and the lighting/contrast lets you see exactly what you want to see.

Can't really figure it out: what's the green orb in front of the marine?

Thanks Game Hunter,  The orb is actually a nuke that I shrunk in the program I used to create these shots.  I wanted it to be something that he could actually carry on him.

Thanks to Tavana, it looks like the problem we had when I first posted things is solved.  There shouldn't be any others, beyond bringing any new ideas to life and sharing them with you.

I never know when I'll be inspired, so keep an eye out for new scenes.

He's scratching his head because he knows that he'll be caught in the boom no matter what he does.

Shinji here once more with a new image for you all to see.

When I saw the scenery that I used for this one I knew I just had to get it for this kind of rendering ideas.
I would have posted sooner, but RL has been a pain in the rear, and I couldn't think of new ideas all that well.
Hopefully I will not have another dry spell like this one and everyone likes what I offer in apologies for taking so long.

Nicely executed, though, so don't let my aesthetics get you down :)

I know what you mean, but the armor is what I felt worked best with what I had in mind when I started my first renders for this thread.

Thanks for the incuragement though.

Shinji here,

I haven't forgotten about this thread, but RL has been a pain.

I was able to enter a contest for my rendering skills over at another forum, and my man DoomGuy is making a cameo in the scene. I'll more than likely post it here and another idea I got from another post that was entered.  I'd post my image here sooner, but don't want to disqualify myself by accident.

I warn you, that as the scene is, DoomGuy is hard even for me to pick out.

Hoping to have more scenes for everyone soon,
Shinji

But I haven't forgoten to bring my entry for that contest over here for you all to see.  I have also rendered the scean form another angle so you can see him then used the 2 renders for a third that i'll include as well.  Hope they're well recived.

Of course he'd be over there cornershooting all the things.
That's basically what he was doing, but the two in the center of the main image are on his side.  As it is, to help them with the nasty that is entering from the left side he'll have to move to get a clearer shot.

Shinji here,

Sorry about taking so long getting back to this thread, but RL has been a pain in the you know where.

Anyway, with the addition of classes in 0994 I've decided to create 2 more base characters to represent the scout and tech. classes.  I'll just use my current Doomguy base for the marine class.

Hope to come up with some thing for you all relatively soon.

Shinji here,

Just thought I'd let you all know that I'm not dead, just been going crazy with school and work so I've not had time to really work on these.

On the good side though, I have two ideas for the tech class that I wanted to show, so here they are.

First Idea:

and Second Idea:

And if I don't post before Thanksgiving, I wish everyone who celbrates it a happy one.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I might not be posting much this coming week.  I have my final for class a week from tommarrow and will be getting ready for that.  I also have to regester for next term still, but other then that and helping my uncle with anything I can help him with, I hope to be able to breath life into my new characters for you all to enjoy.  Happy Hollidays, and a Happy New Year if I don't post before then.

Thanks laptop,

I had the test yesterday, and felt good about how I did.  Now all I need is to register for next term witch starts on the 9th of next month.

BTW I had a crazy idea for a render tonight.  I was thinking, 'Why does Doomguy need to be out fighting all the time in my shots?  Even he needs a break every now and then.'
Maybe I can create a scene that takes place before the game starts?  I think I have just the location to use for this idea so I just may go with it.

Finally, let me wish everyone who reads this a Happy New Year.

Edit- If DoomGuy is to be in the render, then let me know what class he should be.

Shinji here,

Drawing a blank on what to do for the list idea I mentioned, but used my doomguys for another contest I tried to enter last month.  Unfortunatly the sceen got to complex to finish until after the deadline.

I know it has nothing to do with DoomRL, but I guess I'll share it with everyone anyway.  Hope you all like it.

I agree with you that he should be finding cover, but it's known that people can and will make mistakes under stress.  When I said 'at the start of the crisis' I was thinking before the player and his team are called in.  We could be looking at him though the eyes of the beast for all I know.  As a friend of mine would say, I was having a brain fart with this one.

The idea that I was having when I did this one is that Dad and I have just arrived at Hell's Arena.  There are no tangos in sight so we've decided to go different directions to hunt for them.

I gotta, say, this one's probably my favourite that I've seen so far.

If anything, probably because it's lit well, nothing is blocking anything, the mood is set well, and there's no weirdness...(i.e. the "radio" one the guy's just kinda...flopping his gun around...)

But yeah, nice job!

In the past, I've tried to create renders from the character's point of view.  I was just wondering if I should try to do this with Doomguy?

Let me know what you all think.

Go for it man!

The latest render is quite dark -- hard to see what is going on.  Maybe some eerie (but appropriate) ambient light might be good.

Nice one, Shinji, yet again :).
One comment, though - the muzzle flash should probably be more centered on the muzzle itself.
And for inspiration - the gun has sights, so perhaps, for some other picture, the DoomGuy could be looking through them? Might look nice :).
Title: Re: 3d Art Inspired by DoomRL
Post by: thelaptop on April 14, 2012, 09:36
I think the muzzle flash isn't really that big "in real life", and yes, it probably should be centred on the muzzle.  Actually, since assault weapons also have muzzle flash suppressors, the flash origin should be [em]in[/em] the muzzle and be suppressed.  Maybe some additional bullet holes on the charging foe would make this look more desperate for Doomguy.

But other than that, pretty awesome render!  =D

Great to hear from you laptop.  The effect was part of a prop called 'Alien Energy Platform' that was downloaded from a site called sharecg.com (http://sharecg.com).  If you do computer graphics yourself check it out. You may find something there you could use.  I know that I sure have found some great stuff that I've use in my work here.

I like how pinky there doesn't seem to care/notice that there's a chick on his back trying to stab him something fierce.

Did you forget to render the shadows or is it deliberate?  I think it looks more obvious here because of the brighter ambient light and openness of the area, as compared to the other renders that you've done.

Other than that, I like the composition.  It feels hardcore but with a tinge of whimsicality from the big bad.  =)

Actualy laptop, lighting isn't one of my strong points.  Lucky for me, this months contest is all about lighting so hopefully I'll pick up a few things that I can then apply to my creations for over here.  Thanks for the feedback by the way.

Still not one of the top three, but I'll keep trying so I can apply what I learn to my fan art to try and top myself each time.

(Wish me luck, we're learning about posing.  I'll have to find a pic out there and try to recreate the pose in my entry.)

Shinji here, just wanting everyone to know that I've not forgoten about things, it's just that I haven't had any ideas as of late.  It doesn't help that at of the time of this posting I am having to turn in my final exam for this term and that if I pass the class I should have enough credits for a basic degree.  Wish me luck, and I'll try to start having some new ideas cranked out within the month.

Thanks.

Hola Shinji!  Don't worry about us -- real life is more important than what happens in the forums.  Whenever you are ready for a new piece of render, put it up for us to feast our eyes on.  =)

Mech__Warrior, I think that all of us have some level of art talent to one degree or another -- it's part of what makes us human.  Some of us do better because of the amount of time spent on it.  So, practise, practise and practise if this is something you want to develop!  =D

I can describe it quite well, but what I try to create on the art side of things just doesn't look the way I want it.

Basically, I see the Doom guy, helmet off and completely beat up. You can tell he's fought his way through the hordes of demons with how bruised and cut up he is, certain parts of his armor has been torn open along with scratches on his arms. He's holding a shotgun in one hand and his other hand has nothing. He's exhausted, but knows he must soldier on, thus is his task. He may win, he may not, but one thing is for sure; he won't stop fighting.

Maaan... I sure as hell not want to get caught in that blast!  =P

Nice work, but maybe you should leave the ambient lighting lower so that the glow from the plasma ball is reflected specularly off the surfaces -- it's more terrifying that way and exudes more POWER!  =D

All right, that would be pretty cool to see. I'm sorry I left for so long, I had to move back to college and the like. Even though I never made it that far in Doom 3, (I don't know about my friend who owned the copy I had played.) but it's funny that you should make that comment due to the fact that this was the first time I used the prop that I used for the blast.

Sorry about not posting for so long, but the ideas have been on the dry side lately.

As if that weren't bad enough, yesterday the lid of my laptop that I had been using to render what I've posted to date was shut so hard that the screen cracked.  Lucky that I'd copied my resources over to another system that I'm still getting a feel for. However I didn't copy over my Dropbox stuff.

My busted laptop is being looked at as we speak, and there will hopefully be some good news in the next couple of days.

edit- I was able to download Dropbox to the system I'm having to use, and sync it with my account.

Sorry for not saying much in this thread -- life's been hectic for the past few weeks with respect to work.  I like the new direction of "action shots" -- interesting concept for rendering.

As always, I enjoy the different takes that you keep having on the DoomGuy concept.  Not sure if you have tried talking with Kornel about your rendering/modelling abilities -- he might need extra muscle for Jupiter Hell if you have spare capacity.

"Damn you Arch Vile!" and here's a demonstration of a successful application of DodgeMaster as part of Gun Kata.  =D

Are the flames placed as plane layers?  Because I am seeing some weird horizontal artifacts near the bottom left corner.

I was using a plugin for DAZ for creating pardecal effects to create the flames.  I had also rendered the image twice with different light settings and did some editing, so maybe that had something to do with what you are seeing.

Also I hadn't even thought about the Viles when I set things up, I just had an idea that I had to get out of my head.

edit-sorry about any misspelled words in the post, but as the time stamp showed it's late.

I hope that there's little recoil, because if all the barrels fire at the same time with recoil, that arm is going bye bye.

But nice take on the "I have a big... pistol" concept.  =D

I'd totally high-five DoomGuy right now.

Except he's holding a pistol.  I don't want to catch a bullet with my mitts.

It's been a while!  I'm glad to see you're still doing these awesome renders.  Have a good year ahead too!  =D

I agree that it has been a while laptop.  I didn't really have much in the way of ideas to render last month so I wasn't as active as I sometimes am.

BTW your comment about the render before my last one gave me an idea to suggest for a special weapon.  A six barreled rocket pistol that if you used the alt fire, would fire every round loaded but for each round past the first would reduce your max hp by a set amount. I was thinking maybe 5% per extra round.

Here's a little something new that I just rendered.

I kind of drew inspiration from one of my Star Trek Online characters when creating this DoomGuy.  That's why he's 'catty' if you will.

Was just looking though some renders that I did last year but forgot about.  Found some that I decided to share with everyone.

What I was trying with this one was to have our hero be lit only by the screen he was looking at.  Getting the light in position was a pain in the 'you-know-what' if you know what I mean.

-=-

In this one I was trying for the effect you get when something is lit with a blacklight.

-=-

And here, as we can see, DoomGuy finds trouble no matter where he goes. (Even if it's to the bar between runs.)

Hello there everyone.
I was just trying to figure out how long ago it was when I first started all this and imagine my surpize see that it's been almost 3 years.

When the aniversery comes this year, it will have also have been 10 years scense my late father past to the month.  I'll try to see if I can come up with a way to honor him and celebrate the aniversery as well, but no promasses.

P.S. Laptop, in regards to the bar render I was thinking that Doomguy ought to have a place to go after an insane run though hell to try and relax, but as we saw in the render, that isn't always the case.  And don't think of asking what that demon's beef was with him becouse your guess is as good as mine.

Thermite rounds.

Funny you should say that Kashi. The scene file I have set up to bring those bots into a project, was called '!terminator" to help me find it. I use the same idea with my preset Doomguy outfits. (Maybe I should use one or two of those with the new texture I'm downloading as I post this. I'll think about it.)

Why thank you Zicher. I wasn't even thinking of Wolverine at the time I set this one up. I just felt I needed more of an up-close and personal type of fighter this time rather then the ranged fighters I've had. Don't have that many non-ranged weapons to choose from though.

Glad you like it though, it's feed back like this that keeps me looking for new inspiration.

Somehow, the way Doomguy holds the sword seems a bit strange. I don't know - from the dynamic look of the picture it seems that Doomguy performed a horizontal swing, but the blade is vertical. I may be totally wrong, of course.

It's great to be back laptop. I've been playing Star Trek Online with a friend of mine lately. (when ever we can get together in fact.) Guess that it's slipping into my work here, the texture that I used on him was for a Bolian.

That just what I was trying for with the lighting Tormuse. A light shining though the door that's just started opening where his elevator has arrived. Don't know about Nebula cosplay thou.

I was thinking of looking into a new rig anyway. I never told anyone here this, but when I mentioned that my friend and I were playing Star Trek Online I was just barely making the minimum graphics requirements and would still bog down at times. One of the main things that I ordered was a better graphics card, as well as more ram. Those will be helping around here as well.

Back to rendering once more. I was able to get the resources that i had on my first laptop, and am starting the process of re-downloading what i can find of what i got after i transferred them to the last laptop i was using. (the first one had it's screen get busted. had to get a monitor to get the data off.)

anyway, here's something that i cobbled together with my older props and such.

Remember how I was saying that I had an idea stuck in my head after ZicherCZ's stunt during the role-play session that was sparked by my lost soul idea?

I was able to bring it to life tonight, and I must say that thelaptop, ZicherCZ, and I are in a real pickle as you can see in the fallowing image.

I'll add that this is one of, if not my most complex renders to date.

Looks like you boys are in a spot of trouble. Firing a rocket launcher at charging lost souls while there's a perfectly adequate shotgun right next to you. ;_;

Nice work though, i like the idea of lost souls portrayed like that. Makes it more sinister.

Wow, Shinji. This one is really great, and the lost souls really nightmare-fuelish.

Ether you missed it, or you forgot maybe, but I ditched that shotgun back in the role-play chain when I ran out of shells for it with the FIRST SHOT!!
Unless ZicherCZ has any shells that he can slap into it, that thing may as well be a glorified club.

Glad that you liked it though.

Afraid not this time ZicherCZ. I was staying true to the vision that I had in my head after you stirred the hornets nest as they say during the chain.
Maybe next time you'll have that kind of luck.

You're right about my trying to bring nightmare souls into the situation on the other hand. Half of the foes that we're trying to survive against are just that, and there are a total of 32 souls all together.

Like I said, this was one of my most complex renders to date. Took about half-hour to render.

Great to be back laptop. As to the absence of shadows in the last render, I think it was more of the environment, combined with the directions of the lights.

The results were posted just this morning on the contest, and once more I've been out rendered.  I have to agree with the judges though, there were too many well rendered scenes to chose from.

Now if only they'd open up this months contest if they haven't yet.

Any how, I'm going to share what I entered along with the WIP versions so you all can see how it developed.

Here we go, I decided to do this as a new post.

I started with this render.

You'll note that things are rather dark.

---

The next 4 renders show the results of trying to work on that.

---

---

---

At this point we can see what's going on a lot better then what I started with.

---

This next version starts bringing us truly into the FPS idea I was having by equipping our character with a pistol. Thanks to a set of flashlight and mounting rail props that came with this particular sidearm, I chose to use it as a light source as well.

---

The next two renders each added in a new light source.

---

---
These next three renders involved tweaking the poses and locations of characters.

Changed the the shooter's footing so he wasn't standing on the inside edges of his feet, and made the monster that he's fighting come more at him.

---

Move the monster back into the hole it's coming from so it's not getting a face full of mussel flare.

---

Finally re-aimed the pistol that we are holding at the monster.

---

The last change was to the lighting settings to try and clean up the shadows.

Total render time for this last version was over 17 hours.

First version was posted to the WIP thread on 4/1, final version was posted to the WIP thread on 4/16.

Those whom were giving me feedback were given until 4/23 before the final version was posted to the Entry thread.

Total time from start to posting of final entry was 23 days.

That's a lot of fired rounds... is it deliberate that the fiend has such a smooth texture?

I think that was a result of the shader preset that I used on it(the fiend I mean).  Like I've said, I'm still learning the new engine and everything.

Hate to say that this month's contest is going to most likely be eating up my time rendering. I feel that I've set my bar high this time. The effect that I'm going for, requires my rendering the scene twice and using Photoshop to bring things together. My subject is wearing a different outfit in his reflection then he's actually wearing.  Problem is that each render is taking about an hour each, and that's before I've even worked on the lighting.

Also, assuming that the top is the barrel and the bottom some kind of light source, you may be missing a bullet and/or depth for the barrel itself.  =)

Funny that you should comment on the lack of DOF on the last render laptop, that's the theme for this month's contest.  Typing of that, I'm bummed to type that I've been out-rendered yet again.

Here's what I entered last month.

Ooo... shiny!

I think shadows are your weak points.  With many of your renders, you often have more than one light source, but the shadows don't seem to match up well.

Sometimes when I look at a render, my eyes detect that something is "missing" when my brain cannot really say why.

But... don't be discouraged!  I still like your renders!  They have a tendency to play with space a lot -- contrasting between narrow spaces with the wide in a way that is terrifying/dynamic.  =D

That is one helluva complex HUD set up right there!  Hmm... I've always thought that HUD components ought to be rendered in some kind of light blue-tinged red to not blind the fella while still providing ample sharpness to convey the textual information.

That said though, as always, am enjoying your renders.  Seeing you slowly improve over time has been quite a treat!  Though I keep coming back to the whole "you need to light/shadow differently" aspect...  maybe do some experiments with some real-life multi-point source lighting to develop a stronger intuition?

Lastly, have a happy new year and may your renders continue to improve and you winning the render-of-the-month one day!  =D

Thanks for your kind words laptop.

To try and help with things I've decided to dedicate this months beginner's contest entry to his memory.
Our task this month involves replicating poses from an image, and I'm using something that ties into one of the things that he had loved in life, riding motorcycles.

Have to agree with you on the motion blur, however it was my first use of the script so I decided to try and keep things simple at first.

Post by: thelaptop on May 11, 2016, 16:44
Maybe you can include more kungfu-esque posing at some point with the motion blur.  I don't think you've done much of that, and it would be an excellent exercise to understand how to pose humans in more dynamic motion as opposed to your usual stand-and-gun style.  That can improve the quality of renders by giving that extra unconscious boost that the eye sees but the brain cannot quite place.

Besides, DoomGuy gets more badass when he goes through Hell while Ripping and Tearing!  =D

I've started to use Image Based Lighting when I'm doing exterior scenes or if my set has windows.

As for the goblin, I've been playing Elder Scrolls Online with my friend lately, and I guess I let it slip into this one like I was doing for a while when the two of us were playing Star Trek Online.

That cybernetic/robot model looks pretty cool -- it has a very Fallout-esque feel to it.

Have you considered rendering a more complex scene?  You seem to focus heavily on macro shots, maybe something with a larger field might help with training your eye for shadows and posing?

Here's the result of some experimenting with the use of instances, and lighting. So you know, an instance is basically a clone of the source model. You make a change of any kind to the source, and it reflects on the instance(s).

I'm so glad I'm looking at that in day light -- the mapping made you look grotesque!  Heheheheh...

Turns out that the darn plugin was thinking that a light source behind me was part of my face, as well as picking up some of my messy heir thinking it was a part of the face as well. I have to try and get a better selfie of myself next time. It's thanks to that dang light that the right side of my face looks off.

Here's a little something that I kicked around this week as an idea for a new avatar. Thought I'd share it first.

If I don't post before next week, I wish everyone a safe and happy new year.

Sorry that I haven't been around, but it's been a tough year so far.

My grandmother had to spend some time at the hospital due to a uti, and is currently in rehab. Also last Friday mark a year that has past that my uncle we lost to suicide has been gone, so my mind hasn't been where it should to be trying to work on these type of projects.

But this week I've buckled down and have knocked out a pair of renders for you all so without further adu here they are.

The later of witch was inspired by HELL TO PAY! (https://miracleofsound.bandcamp.com/track/hell-to-pay). The link will take you to a page where you can both listen to the song and read the lyrics to it.

Interesting choice of ambient lighting you have there!  I don't think you've mixed lights in a while.  The floor in the second image looks like there might be discontinuities in the reflection -- was that to be expected?

Sorry your recent time has been full of trying things.  I understand how you feel because I'm having a bad week myself.

But the weekend will beckon soon, and everything, good or bad, will pass eventually.

Just great, I just got a email from dropbox saying that as of the 15th of this month my public folder that I've been saving my renders to will become a private folder, so I'll have to figure out how to go about sharing things with everyone after that. If there are any suggestions of other places to store things and share them, let me know. Otherwise I guess I can just share links until then...

You can really just make your own "public" folder. You simply put everything in that folder and then create links for every file. Kind of like how you did before in the public folder.

Newgrounds? If you don't want to restrict your sharing to the forum, that is...

While I try to figure out where to take things to share with everyone, I thought I'd at least try to share by attaching things for now.

Here's my latest render using some new resources. While the clothing he's using isn't new, but the resource I just grabbed let's him use it with out any middleman. Also the lighting is calculated by a plugin that lets me choose a location in the world as well as a time/date.  I used my hometown and the date and time of running the render to set the light.

Couple of new renders making use of some shader resources I grabbed in the time sense I last posted. Also the more recent render, (just today in fact.) is using a new outfit that I grabbed this weekend.

Glad to read that you liked it laptop.  And reading that you had been to Seattle brought back memories of my late grandfather, who lived in the area. Also reminded me of my late uncle who took me and my cousin up that way for a week to visit said grandfather.

P.S.  I was chatting away with a friend as I was typing this and he brought up the question, "How many starbucks are in Seattle?"

"How many starbucks are in Seattle?"

"Enough for their corporate headquarters to not have one on premise."

Seriously though, there's at least one per block.

The two new renders are pretty!  Here's a challenge for you: see if you can render your marines in a more organic environment, i.e. outdoor-sy with grass and trees and what not.  I think the slight increase in the complexity of the environment can help with the shadows a bit.

Hate to say it, but grandma was back in the hospital with another uti last week.  She's in rehab already, but there's going to be a meeting this afternoon so hopefully things go well with that.  On a lighter note she at the same rehab place she was at last time, and my mother and I jokingly almost called her room.  We joked that she'd be in the same room as last time when in reality she's in the room one door down from the one across the hall from the room she was in last. Let me tell you that it gave me a laugh that I needed when I saw that Friday.

Sorry about not posting, but to make up for it I have something rendering as I type this.

Sorry about not posting right away, but grandma had a second uti last month like I mentioned in my last post.  Hate to say it, but she's going to be having to stay in long term care this time.

Sorry about venting there, on to my latest render for this thread.

Never thought that I'd have to do this, but I actually had to go and move part of my resources for my art over to an external hard drive that I have because my c: drive was getting too full.

Anyway here's some of my latest render's for you all.

I see that "flaming red" is the current theme!

As always, love your renders!  I think that your experimentation with different camera angles to play around with what your composition is something that is very cool.

Here's something new. Sorry about not posting sooner, but last month was crazy with renders for the new user challenge over at Daz. I know that I've been rendering for quite some time, about as long as I've been posting to this thread even, but I'm still learning new tricks and the like as I go.

If anyone is curious as to what I was working on last month, head on over to here (http://september-2017-daz-3d-new-user-challenge-focus-dof), and look for any posts with attachments by Shinji Ikari 9th.

Anyway I've got a new project in the works as I type this.  Not quite ready to render thou but I'm working on things.

I know it's been 2+ months since I last posted, but things haven't been good for the family lately.  Biggest thing being that my grandmother who had the 2 UTIs last year pasted away last month at the age of 87.  Even though I'm trying to hang in there and take things one day at a time, I admit that I'm in a bit of a funk these days and that isn't helping with trying to come up with ideas.

Hey Shinji_Ikari_9th, don't worry about the art here -- it's more important to deal with life first.  We'll still be here!  Besides, there are still 7 pages worth of wonderful renders that you have put up over the years to keep us going for a bit while you think up your next big work!

Meanwhile, do take care, okay?
