Requests For Features / The unmaker
« on: December 10, 2006, 16:25 »
Have you though about adding the Unmaker weapon to the game. It was in the Doom bible for the original specs of the game. It was also added to Doom 64. It had three upgrades to it I think to make it more powerful. I think it would be a cool addition as a rare and hard to find weapon.

Discussion / Special reload
« on: December 10, 2006, 16:23 »
What does the special reload function do exactly? What weapons use it? How do I know if I found a special weapon like a fastload chaingun or shotgun for example. Do the combat shotguns show up less often in the new version? it seems like they do.

Discussion / sound won't work in new version.
« on: December 08, 2006, 11:28 »
When I try to run doomrl 9.8.5 for windows on my dell latitude with windows 98 I get an error message when I start doomrl.bat or doomrl.exe.

" critical error: <tsound/0/0> registermusic(music/0 - intro.mid): etc/timidity/timidity.cfg: no such file or directory"

the game will run if I dissable the music, but I would like to hear the music when I play. I had the older version of doomrl on the same computer and it ran fine with the music playing. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how I can fix it?
