Just write in the manual that the whole thing is the elevator...if someone thinks he can only go up/down on the middle tile its his problem ;) Actually i always go on the middle tile before going up/down - dont know why...

Do you know any thing about coding in FP?
If you meant me - i programmed pascal some years ago, actually turbo pascal 5.0 under MS Dos 5.5 - so its ages ago (over 15 years).
Wrote this also in the IRC channel, i lack also the time to do much :( Have a lot of other projects, still waiting for a timeslot to start with Kornels wishlist for the IRC bot ;)

If you really get the chance to work on AliensRL do me a favor and please let the original tileset/theme please be available ;) I dont like to run RLs in graphics mode...

Would be really nice. Also i dont need to much more changes the actual beta should be also released for linux and there maybe some balancing on the basic gameplay needed. Looking forward to new releases, im sure it will work out as one of the greatest games ever :D

Personally i like it the way it is ;) But the graphics look good - would be a nice improvement and also will help a lot of ppl satisfying their hunger for graphics in games - so why not :D

Well, very nice one. But some point to the movie (you knwo you can satisfy those critics ;) ):

- make it a bit more like 80x25 or smething. http://www.asciimation.co.nz/ looks much better, i think (from the "resolution").
- make it a bit faster again ;)
- at the end you say doom.chaosforge.COM! Well, kornel tries to get this page but atm it doom.chaosforge.ORG ;)

Hm, i think best point to publish it is here atm. Maybe you should also post it on RogueBasin and at the roguelike group at googlegroups. Those should bring a bit attention towards it.
Sure there are some forums out that are also good points - it will spread itself in the community :)

Ok, talked to a wiki admin (luckily one of the english version ones :) ) and he said he cant understand that it was deleted - but it was and the discussion wont end without proof of need/usability. An easy and reliable way to proof the usability of an article is when you can give references like news articles in news papers/magazines and the like.
I tried to search for them and only found those:

Sure the 7DRL games from chaosforge should be a good reference too. Maybe someone has news articles in other languages? I saw a picture from a polish computer magazine somehwere here in the forum ("screenshot"), maybe this can be used too.

So 7DRL can be put back into wikipedia, but i will need you help ;) Give some links to aritcles about 7DRL (hope you can find some).
The pokemon problem is just because there are much more ppl knowing this stuff than ppl knowing RLs and the 7DRL contest. Thats why pokemon stays while 7DRL got deleted. Also pokemons have a lot of resources in the net.

Well, i understand wikipedia in some way. They accepted any crap that was coming up from everyone. Which caused a load of wrong informations and stupid entries...they were going to a big private homepage hoster.
Now they changed this and so every article (especially new ones) must be validated, useful, informative and also have a special format. On the counter part this makes it really hard to establish new articles in wikipedia and also keep them there. 7DRL was sadly one of them.
Ok, i have to say that i know one of the main admins from wikipedia personally - i will ask him what can be done to get the article into wikipedia and also have it included there after the next "update" ;) But i can do this earliest in one or two weeks - hes not around atm (holiday).
I will keep you informed about this.

Im missing for example CyAngband (sadly discontinued but a "shooter") and Z-Day (Zombie shooter)is un-categorized. Just two examples, there maybe many more...

Hey, as you know i tested it at home and it worked with urxvt. So we can say that the terminal emulator is not directly the problem.
Checked it now here at work (yeah, i know, have some spare time :P ) with urxvt and i run into the same problem. After resizing i see the game, but not when i launch it.
Testing a bit around i could solve the problem - just set your TERM-Variable to xterm before starting the game. rxvt-unicode doesnt seem to be "supported" ;)

Actually i was thinking of using the M309...but i dont know it anymore - maybe i forgot to switch the weapon- Was pretty quick, got down, got killed...
Btw. i think that the mortem screen is wrong. I was master in technical and some of the other skills seem to be one level to low. Maybe a bug? Or do you lose some of your abilities when dying ;)
