Nothing really noteworthy with this, just figured I'd post my first proper win in god knows how long.
That said, Carmack's tendency to hide within clusters of minions is frustrating to no end. Here I am, trying to kill everything off, and - either by suicide or friendly fire - he dies. Fuuuuuuuuuun.

This was my first decent attempt in a while. Skipped the Arena, which kills off most of my DoomGuys, and proceeded smoothly. But during the entire run, not one power mod spawned. Plenty of bulks, but not the pack needed to build a chainsword. But I still decided to fight JC. Fucking smart move there. >.<

Man, am I glad I already have Pacifism Diamond. Now that Fireangel has been put off-limits, I imagine it's gonna be a LOT harder to get..That said, those arachs managed to land 71 points of damage on me straight after a large med-pack, after neatly vapourising some red armour. :/

Endgame is a bitch >.<Shotguns are handy throughout the challenge, even more so if you pick up Int2. Being able to snipe far-off enemies while being able to cover your ass helps a lot (even if I picked it up towards the last few levels).
Now I think I might take a break from the harder badges. Its playing hell with my sleep patterns. :P

*Complete accident here. I was invincible, so I didn't see the red. The level leading to it was an arach cave, so I just pelted straight in. I had Fireangel by that point, so I managed to get to the exit safely.**As MaiZure noted, I've played a shitload of games. I'd say around 300 of them are Pacifism/Strongman attempts ^^
My second diamond. And man it took a while. Fireangel is a must, especially if you stupidly barge into the Mortuary >.<
Not sure if this is a bug or not, but if a level with red stairs on it is a level that you leveled up upon entering, you can take the red stairs for another level up. For example, if the stairs to Hell's Arena spawns on dlev 3, entering the Arena will give you a second level up. Handy for rushing the traits you need.

Oh man, why did no-one tell me that the highest badge level for the Wall is silver???? I would have just skipped it, because a backpack and an advanced RL just don't seem worth it in Nightmare.... and so my best N! run to date dies to a Baron... a fucking weak (health wise) as piss Baron!!
