Did you know, that DoomRL has a useless feature built in that monsters can gain experience? They can level up too. Too bad they don't live long enough to achieve that ^_^.
i actually saw that happen. it told me an arachnotron looked "stronger".
i wish i had taken a picture, but i didn't really pay attention. :S
anyone else ever got this?

Yup. Me. When former sarge fired, he killed 3 former humies and 2 imps :)
What an idiot ! Then he advanced, and took a rocket on his face...

This'd make a good challenge...
Angel of Betrayal
- Enemies attack each other as well, resulting in more experience for them and less experience for the player.
Eh? Eh?

Sure, i'll just wait around somewhere safe and then kill the last lamer that went and killed everyone else off, yay!

The last lamer would most likely be something tough, like a Baron of Hell. You'dn't have too much experience even at that point while the Baron would be a couple of levels higher. Maybe it's picked Eagle Eye?

They don't get any player traits, they just get healthier; plus the last lamer would have taken a fair beating by the time he came for you. Also, the stuff that was on the level would be pretty much all wrecked. I don't think it'd be terribly fun or interesting...
