-- General ---------------------------------------------------
Before him 37 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
35 of those were killed.
1 of those was killed by something unknown.
And 1 couldn't handle the stress and commited a stupid suicide.
--------------------------------------------------------------
* He was thermied though. Heh heh.
** Skipped level 14. I was going for a YAAM, but level 14's scary. =P
*** Where's halls of carnage?
**** No cateye, as you can see.
***** All at once. Stupid arachs.
I was quite lucky this game. I found a rapid rocketlauncher, but advanced is better. I got a "There's somthing special here!" on level 10:
20 plasma cells
plasma gun
plasteel boots
protective boots (Now why would I need those?)
That was great. It was before I found barons and arachs!
But there was 2 things I never got.
RED ARMOR! No red armor 4 me.
And
THE BFG! I guess it makes up for getting the plasma gun early...
-
heh and here i thought you were going to post a huge improvement ;P
oh well, it is better than your last best game :D
you may want to spread your traits around a bit more though, for me that works better than maxing 2 (also without cateye)
-
Hmmm... I have tried that, maybe it'll work.
-
oh, i don't mean get a lot of lvl 1 traits btw.. tough as nails still goes to level 3 for my characters ;)
but other than that i never max a trait. Unless i DO get cat eye, but i hardly ever get that anymore cause it's too easy 0.o
btw, you need more luck.. i often get a red armor by around level 10. That you didn't a BFG doesn't surprise me though, you didn't get to the (special) levels that garantuee you'll get one..
-
You say that as if I don't know how to get a BFG. =)
(Didn't you see my last sig, which said: "Best achievement: firing the BFG", or my first one which said "Best achievement: getting the BFG" =P)
Yes, I always have had quite bad luck. But at least in this game I had good luck too. (i.e the Plasma rifle b4 level 11)
-
ah ok, sorry about that.. well it may help some newer players that read this ;) (not much though)
plasma rifle before level 11 has happened to me quite a lot actually.. i guess about 30% of my games where i got past that level. But human commanders are more likely to appear later, that's true.
