Title: Scariest Hellknight moment?

Hellknights are pretty rough in doomRL, the ability to pick up items makes them even tougher. Has anyone out there run into any real craziness with Hellknights/Barons of Hell? Medkits aren't too bad and I love it when they pick up pistols. My last fatal encounter with item using goodness happened to be a Hellknight with a rocket launcher. I can just imagine the doomguy crapped his bloomers before leaving a smoking crater.  Thankfully no BFGs yet.... How about the rest of you revellers in bloody doom awesomeness? What the worst encounter you've experienced?

The worst thing that a HellKnight can do (IMHO) is pick up several large medkits. Not only are you denied another chance at life, but by the time he looses his you will be left with not many rockets..or hitpoints.

There is no real point in being scared by HK's with 'launchers, their natural attack does about the same amount of damage anyway.

Damn, Halls Of Carange on HMP. Two BoHs. RL, door to wonder-room are opened forever. I ran for cover with my DS, not knowing what has to happen. Decided to attack, and then dude blasted me with BFG. This is f*****g sick.

It'd have to be every time in the end of Hell's Arena, when I'm usually worn out and half-dead. Killing those two that appear then is always quite a job for me in that condition.

Why ? So, do you want to say that it was only his acidic bolt ? Dunno, it killed me so I didn't check if he had a BFG. Fire was green.

EDIT : Yes, I was wrong. This wasn't BFG, because explosion was too small and I didn't hear that "ZZZAP !".
For a recompensation, see "an epic tale about lonely shotgunner and three BOHs"... AFAIR they all were unarmed. But three of them ?

I had a Baron kill me with a BFG once.  Was embarassing.  I fired a rocket to open up the chamber a bit too early.  He grabbed it, and splat.

One with a BFG? that's nothing! Once one of these bastards dropped thermie on me, used phase device and run down the stairs!

In Mortuary, I really have seen Baron with BFG. Luckily, he missed, and shooted only once.
