Title: Winds of Change
Post by: Kornel Kisielewicz on February 02, 2008, 07:13
Okay, things will get hectic now, so I guessed an announcement is in order.

I just started the work of setting up a public linux server at my flat, and some things will change because of that. First of all the feeds on the main page might be broken, unworking or using old data while I move the subversion repositories from chaosforge to the local server. Berserk and valkyrie will be unaffected cause they sit on sourceforge.

I'm seriously thinking about removing the chaosforge stuff from CIA, and instead handle notifications and info by myself. CIA is waay to unstable.

So what's planned for the server? In chronological order:
* moving all non-public repositories there
* setting up a new and enhanced commit information system and bugtracking reports
* an enhanced irc-bot for #chaosforge
* Berserk! telnet server for live gaming on the channel

Stay tuned for more!

You know I've been running two private linux server all the time, right? :p

If you need a bot or something just give me a call. I'd also be willing to host telnet/ssh gameplay but I'd have to do some configuration for that first (*cough*jail*cough*).
