Title: Possible to play in a comp without sound?

Now, I know sounds are not NECESSARY to play the game, but when I play this from my flash drive on a comp without anything but the internal beeping, I get an error about the sound [I can't copy paste now, I'll report on it later]. Is there a way to play where a sound isn't loaded at initially so the game can be played?

There should be a no-sound version on the DoomRL download page.
